Mojave or Albino tough decision's

Both are Female and both are the same weight and feeding on the same... Did research but would like you all to help please :)

Pics of each? Both are on my own wishlist (well a male albino) so seeing each would allow me to see which I would personally take. Can't go wrong with either though!

hmmmm...

I would go Mojave. They make BELs and Mojave combos are super wicked...

as for albinos.... They are kind of boring, no offense to albino lovers... All combos are white and orange/yellow. And you have to work with hets... YUK!! Lol

in all seriousness... For me... Mojaves > Albinos

If you want it for a pet, and only a pet than you should choose whatever you like more. If you have future breeding plan, go for the Mojo. Codoms are going to prove more useful to you when your starting out

If you don't want to work with hets then mojave but personally I would go albino and get a black pastel to go with it ;)

I've always liked mojave WAY more than albinos. But at the end of the day it's a personal choice.;)

X3 on that sentiment. I have a Mojo and my next purchase will probably be an albino. :rolleyes: Maybe if you could show us pictures we could be of more help? ;)

I have a lesser and an albino and i would say my albino is way nicer to look at. It has a nice amount of shock value that gets you excited to see it in your collection

The first ball I bought was (and still is, lol!) an albino; Lerrrrrroy Jenkinssss is his name. My vote would be for albino. Recessives take a little more time/effort as far as breeding goes but they tend to hold their value more in the market place. If it's strictly a pet, albino all the way.

I believe it boils down to personal preference but Id go with the Mojo but you cant go wring either way :gj:

I said albino because since you are going for a female it doesn't matter which you go for they will both take 2 years to raise before being breedable.
You can do what we did, raise a female and pick up a black pastel het albino(or any other morph het) and make albino combo's first try.

Mojaves are sweet too, it really is what you like and what makes you smile when you open up the tub/enclosure.

All these pretty pictures of Albinos are torturous. Just thought I'd throw that out there. I want one so badly right now. :P

I would personally go for the mojave. Red eyes weird me out :rolleye2:

Yeah, popular votes are not going to make you happy in the end. It has to be a choice that is made based on personal preference or breeding goals. If you want to work strictly with visual recessives since you will KNOW hets, then go for that. If you want just as a pet, go for the one that you enjoy more, if you want it to possibly breed, get both and get a black pastel het albino boy later to use with both of them ;-). I will say though, an Albino Ball Python was my first official Ball Python morph, my gateway drug . . it was so incredible that I couldn't keep its genes to myself. But BEL are one of my favorites, and instead of just buying one, I decided to make my own with Mojaves, so I use those genes too :-)
