Hair donation...

will occur in 30 minutes!

I'm cutting my hair very, very short to be able to donate it to Locks of Love!

Good luck and I can't wait to see the after pics. I'm SOOOOO jealous right now. I've been growing my hair out for a little over a year so I can donate it, but I'm not quite at the 10 inch mark yet... SO ready to cut it off again.

Good for you. Both of my daughters, ages 14 and 9, have done this twice each. They had a girl in their school that had cancer and so they both decided that they wanted to do it in her honour. After they did it once it was such a good expirience that they did it again and are working on a 3rd time.

What requirements do they have? I think I heard it all has to be the same length, no layers?

Hey! It's done!

Your hair can be layered. They still accept the shorter pieces of hair to offset manufacturers costs!!

Contrary to belief it can also be dyed. Just not bleached. Mine was natural though.

This may seem like a strange compliment... but you by far have some of the coolest eyebrows ever lol.

Very nice thing you've done there and you wear it well regardless of the length. All three of my daughters have done this before. I also give blood just about every chance I get. Some things just can't be synthesized well so its nice to do if you can.

And just to let you know, it took mine just under 2 years to grow out.

Before I started growing it, it was about the same length as it is now, though.

I (along with my brother) also somewhat recently donated our hair to Locks Of Love. It's nice to drastically change every once in a while and it's for a great cause!

I donated my hair my senior year of high school. I kept it short until recently. My hair is getting longer and I'm considering cutting it again and donating.

Maybe in another 6 months so I don't have to cut it too short. :P
