    Belly shot might help.

    I'm going to say it's a nice quality similar looking normal.
    No floating aliens, no white coming up off the belly like black pastel, cinny and het reds typically display.
    I'm not ruling it out but it doesn't scream het red to me.

    he has some nice flames (the white coming up into the black?) he just doesn't sit still long enough to get good pictures. he's a pretty feisty fellow! these are the best belly shots i could get of him.

    he was given to us by a friend, the only information he had is that it was a male, lol.

    Ah, well ill have to agree with Jerry. Looks like a normal to me. However you might wanna shoot Corey Woods and email with the pic. He will be able to tell you for sure.

    I don't see it. Along with pattern, Het Reds tend to be darker in general...

    Im not personally seeing it. May be a lower quality example one. Im not super familiar with the morph though.
