Any issues with Fires?

I heard a rumor that fire females are prone to slugs, infertility? Who has had problems/ success breeding fire males vs females? Since there are super fires I assume that this is not a across the board issue.

The only problem I know is that your eyes hurt from the brightness from looking at really pretty fire!

Might you be confusing it with the issues of the Desert females? Just a thought. I agree with Don :D :cool:

That may be the source of the rumor... I hope so! I know about the Desert issues.... just scared me that there might be a problem with he fire and I'm going NOOOOOOOOO! So I hope there is nothing to this rumor!

No. There was a rumour that super fire females were infertile too. Im pretty sure mike wilbanks disproved that rumour MANY times over lol.

Yeah, only problem I know of is I do not have enough of them in my collection...

Haha, haven't heard anything of the like. I've got big plans for my little fire girl, and she's an absolute chow hound to boot! :D (after a very frustrating 4 month feed strike of course :rolleyes: )

Never had any problems with any fires laying slugs.

I bred a fire female and a firefly female and both had good clutches this year. my super fire female isn't breeding size yet. the only issue I see with the fire gene is that they don't brown out.
