Re: Show off you reptile family!!!
I love these kinds of threads! I love to show off my babies!
First up is Fluffy. She was a rescue. As of today (since she pooped for me, I went ahead and got an empty weight on her), she's gained a total of 213g since July! When I acquired her, she was 44g and is now 257g today! She's my favorite. Despite being "just a normal" she means a lot to me and I could never get rid of her!
http://www.iherp.com/Gallery/98673/1...pG7v4uz0rL.jpg
Next up is my spider, Charlotte. She's been in my care since August. She's roughly 200g empty (I think it was 206g earlier this week). She used to be my worst feeder. So long as she doesn't miss on her first strike, she hammers down her food.
http://www.iherp.com/Gallery/98673/1...QVSZLidOyK.jpg
My last ball python is Jax, a lesser. He's the boyfriend for the ladies mentioned above when they get up to size. He's just over 300g (325g I think). He was my best live eater but since switching him to frozen, he's decided to be a little pain. but he does eat with some encouragement. He's also the one that if you want to hold him, you have to sign a waiver saying that you understand if you pop, probe, or mess with him to any extent, he reserves the right to unleash hell on you in the form of urine, urates, and even feces. He also does splash.
http://www.iherp.com/Gallery/98673/1...1LAIUcF42z.jpg
And now for the cornsnakes!
First up, Severus. She's a snow motley female around 70g. She was thought to be a "he" until August (nearly a year after I got her) and I never did change her name. She's my little wiggle worm.
http://www.iherp.com/Gallery/98673/1...GXPwVNYDNc.jpg
Next is my bloodred corn snake, Anuna. I got her in May. She's about a month or two older than Severus but she weighed in at 106g this week. She's currently in shed and experiencing a growth spurt. And yes, the stove was off in this picture! I would never put her near a warm stove!
http://www.iherp.com/Gallery/98673/1...vWoQfseHNw.jpg
Next up is FNU (fa-new). It stands for "first name unknown." I acquired her from an expo. She's just a normal (believed to be Alabama phase) but she is my fastest growing, best eater, most nippy, and generally witchy snake. I never could settle on a name for her and eventually...FNU just stuck. When I got her in August, she was 23g. Now, she weighs in at 51g on the same feeding schedule as everyone else.
http://img41.imageshack.us/img41/2130/77558366.jpg
Next up is Callie, my Miami phase. This is an OLD picture of her and it's bad quality. I just haven't had time to go through and get some better ones of her. She will look gorgeous when she gets bigger. She's about 17g now. She's my "live only" eater.
http://www.iherp.com/Gallery/98673/1...rJEBfM48Nf.jpg
Last, but not least, this is Travis. He's my anery motley. He's about 25g in this picture. He's also a relatively slow grower. But he should be ready for breeding when my girls are all up to size.
http://www.iherp.com/Gallery/98673/1...HphLWJSN3k.jpg
I hope yall enjoyed seeing my babies. I have 3 ball pythons and 5 corn snakes! Plans are already in the works for one more male corn snake to better compliment Anuna (She's a bloodred het lavender/motley/hypo and PH amel and caramel). I plan on proving out her amel first (Travis is het amel) and then pairing her with a hypo bloodred or a hypo lavender motley...something like that. For the ball pythons, I want to get me a mojave and enchi female and probably something with cinnamon or pastel in it. So many snakes, so little money! Money should just grow on trees.

:) Cool critters so far. Heck, I'll play...and you don't even have to suffer a long post as my collection is sadly small ATM.
First up is my darling rescued lemon pastel BP Sunspot. He's still here and going strong.
http://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x...unSpot7-12.jpg
And just a week or so ago exploring his brand new cage
http://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x...nspot10-12.jpg
Next, Freya our (actually Ari's) pink snow corn girl. She is REALLY hard to get a good picture of, so I tried getting the shot of her in her transport tub. :)
http://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x...-Freya2012.jpg
And here she is exploring her just finished new cage
http://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x...wcage10-12.jpg
And here is Topaz, my beloved IJ blue tongue skink. This is from a while back, but he hasn't really changed much.
http://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x.../Topaz2-10.jpg
More recent pic of him responding to being called.
http://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x...nk-peeking.jpg
And finally, my fuzzy therapy - Licorice the Havana/Netherland Dwarf bunny.
http://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x.../bunincage.jpg
Being held by my daughter Katy when she came up to visit (for the first time in 6 years) this July.
http://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x...tyandBunny.jpg
Those is ma babies. :D I'm hoping to be able to start adding a few new critters before long. I'll keep everyone posted here. :)

And yes do keep us posted on any new additions to your family I'm sure we would all love to see them maybe a bearded dragon in the near future???;)

:) Thanks. Blue tongue skink size ultimately depends on the species, but typical size is about 22" long. Topaz is full grown, and that tile he's on is 12x12.
We hadn't seen Katy in 6 years because she lives in Austin with her dad...and we're all poor. It took saving up for quite a while to afford to fly her up here, but we're very glad we did, the visit was awesome.
:D I had a beardie for a while, but he turned out to be one of the 1 in 100 that refused to chill out so he went to a breeder friend and I got my first ball python in trade. That was years ago, but I do admit I'm thinking of rescuing a nice adult before long. I'm building Topaz a new 5'x2' cage soon, and thinking of what can live in his current (42"x18") cage. We shall see. More likely, I'll be getting another corn snake first.

Ok, you asked for it!! :D Here's my group.....
My 2 Argentine Boas, Mojo and Roslin. Mojo is a black normal het T+ and Roslin is a black motley also het T+. Mojo bluffs a lot, but is a puppy at heart. Roslin does a spanking good imitation of a king cobra..... :P
http://i1202.photobucket.com/albums/...Boas/Mojo2.jpg
http://i1202.photobucket.com/albums/...as/Roslin2.jpg
The Colombian boas are Jasper, Peaches, and Pandora. Jasper and Peaches are hypo het ghost and Pandora is a Sunglow arabesque. Peaches and Pandora are 2 of the sweetest, most docile snakes I've ever had the pleasure of working with.

http://i1202.photobucket.com/albums/.../peaches01.jpg
http://i1202.photobucket.com/albums/...s/Pandora1.jpg
My 2 Ball Pythons are Mojo and Ella. Mojo is a spectacular mojave and Ella is a rescued normal who thinks she's a green tree python...
http://i1202.photobucket.com/albums/...ps05bfe964.jpg
http://i1202.photobucket.com/albums/...5-21-11005.jpg
I guess Ella spends too much time watching this boy, my Green Tree Python, Hunter. This is truely a spectacular snake. He is incredibly calm and wonderful to handle, yet amazing to simply watch too.
http://i1202.photobucket.com/albums/...ons/Hunter.jpg
And here are my crested geckos: Hops, Saffron, Chai, and Juniper.

http://i1202.photobucket.com/albums/...ckos/Chai1.jpg
http://i1202.photobucket.com/albums/...ckos/girl2.jpg
And last, but certainly not least, are the pride and joy of my life and my children. My dogs - the ones who keep my going, keep me grounded, and are my joy and peace: Djenga, Twila, Chloe, and Briana (with my hubby, Mark).
