thanks, Marla. he isn't a natural at all though, he's a friggin' wiggle monster. all the better though, he's healthy... loves to move.

Wow, Will....those are BEAUTIFUL pictures of a gorgeous snake! Hard to believe he's under 3 feet long! Those pics make him look more like seven feet!!

yeah in that second pic, the coloring makes it look like he has eyelids that are partially closed - like a cartoon snake. Great pics!

great pics... i would love a snake like that but they get so big id need a cage the size of my room!

Smulkin, they sold the bci i wanted to get, and since I am going to attempt breeding boas someday, I decided to try and find one with a completely different bloodline. I'll definitely let you guys know when I find something (within a month or 2)... And Smoke has just recently began feeding on small rats, and takes em like a champ.

You sure that's not a BCC?

I got this off the boaconstrictor.com website:

The most important signs of Boa c. constrictor are the bat-shaped, brown to dark-brown middorsal blotches ("widows-peaks")...

It's BCI, but a beatiful one. It's saddles are as nice as BCI's get, and the tail is bright for a BCI too. He just lcuked out, and got a sweet bci.

Awesome healthy boa you have there. I can't wait until Dusk gets that big!
