My first clutch hatched..unbelievable odds..Pastel het pied x het pied

This was my first attempt at breeding last season and I made the newb mistake of confusing building with ovulation so since it was so late in the season I had gave up on this girl but then I saw ovulation and like everyone says once you see it for the first time you cant mistake it. I raised the female from a hatchling so its been a long wait until this point and the piebald mutation is what got me into this hobby. I was so proud of her laying 7 eggs her first time and they all candled even 2 boob eggs. I built a incubator out of a mini fridge and was alittle concerned through out the process but it did great and they started to hatch on day 57 :D. anyhow enough talk here are some pics from start to finish. I still cant believe these results :banana:

I will take some better pics after they shed. Even the pastel and normals have some really nice markers and the pastel even has a slight ringer :D

Congrats! I thought only spieds (spider pied) were THAT reduced with only their head pattern. Very cool indeed :D

Wow you hit the jackpot on your first try. I'm so jealous since still probably 2 years away from even trying to breed. What a great clutch. I would have such a hard time deciding what to hold back and what to rehome.

Wow, fantastic results for a first timer. Everything went right. You must feel incredibly fortunate. Did you volunteer at the homeless shelter or donate to charity lol? Those pieds are amazing. It doesn't get much better than that.

Thanks everyone... I havent even sexed them yet and Im having a hard time deciding which to hold back :D Im for sure keeping the pastel pieds if there a male and female and if the pastel is a female I will probulary end of keeping it just to see if it proves to be het. I cant seem to quit looking in there tub and seeing all that white.

Yeah all the poss hets have markers... I will get some pics tonight... All my racks are from reptile basics except for my hatchling rack which is from cserpents.

Very nice babies you have there. Congrats. I have a question on the one above. I have yet to breed, hoping to this year, and I am trying to learn as much as I can from this site. With that being said would this pastel pied be considered a paradox due to the normal coloring on the head and you can see where the nice yellowish color starts?

can you post some side x sides of the pieds vs the pastel pieds? My pied was sird by a pastel pied to a het pied and since I have had her I get the strange feeling she could have pastel in her. Mainly from the lighter coloring and high orange towards the outer patterning. I know a lot of high quality pieds can have high orange to them but from what I've seen tend to brown out as they get older, on certain parts of mine she is browning but the outer rings have stayed high orange.

I'm also pretty sure I've seen pastel pieds and pieds with brown and green eyes, with pastel pieds tendng to have clearer high blushing. My confusion lies in that I've seen specimens that I personally thought could have been either...I'm trying to determine a method that is sure in differentiating...it's one of the main reasons I didn't want to get into pastel pieds heh.
