Nice pictures, sadly some of those animals are in pretty poor shape - not uncommon for pet stores unfortunately.

ive noticed that with the snakes, but considering others ive been in, exotic pets is one of the better ones. And some of those snakes are rescues.

Is it the same LLL Exotic Pets that I always see on KS or am I making that up? I would love to get to Vegas as an adult (been there as a kid) and will definitely try to visit triple L while I'm there! Maybe I'll use some blackjack winnings to score some new pets! :D

I really really love it. I've never taken any photography classes or anything, mostly taught myself using YouTube so I'm pretty proud of myself :) The camera was pretty easy to figure out and I think it takes really nice pictures even with my not-so-talented picture taking skills lol

I took a photography class many moons ago in high school, lol. I just love taking pictures and have had an assortment of "point and shoots". Keep talking about spending the money and buying a nice "forever" camera. And have been comparing the Cannon and Nikon. But then I go and buy another snake....:D

There is LLL Reptile (not in Vegas).
and then there is Exotic Pets (Las Vegas).
LOL at people getting judgmental on Ken Foose based on a couple of snaps taken in his store.................................

I was just posting the pictures I took and I actually left out the pictures that I felt were sad. I have nothing against this store, but seriously, you're laughing at us? Is this something were not supposed to be "judgmental" about?

Ken is a good guy whose record speaks for itself...........
If this is indeed Exotic Pets Las Vegas, why don't you call him or e-mail him that pic and ask him to explain himself? Point him to this thread and see what he has to say..............I'm interested in hearing an explanation for that last pic..........

I never meant for this to change anyone's opinions or paint a bad picture of the store, I just wanted people to see my pictures. I have nothing against this store. It had the largest variety of beautiful reptiles, it's just that some were a little overcrowded. Don't get me wrong, besides that detail, it was one of the best pet stores I have been to. I loved stopping there.

Well, if you think here is an issue with overcrowding - as per your last pic - I think it would be a good idea to let Ken know that it was something you saw and were concerned about................sometimes there is an explanation, and sometimes there isn't.

That is sure a lot of box turtles! I have to agree, way more then should be in the enclosure. The only excuse I have is we just got them in, and they are almost all going to be shipped out to customers next week. This is the last big batch of the season, and we ordered heavy so we'd still have some for xmas. Those photos are very nice, by the way. Thanks for taking them. The two things I noticed that I did not like (not counting the turtles) is the photo of the skinny Sandfish, and the photo of the dry looking Tree python. As soon as I saw the snake, he went in for a soak. Our humidity is only about 5% here, so it's really hard on very tropical stuff sometimes. The Sandfish looks horrible. I regret to say that sometimes a few come in looking like that, and we do our best to help them recover from the horror they have been subjected to before they find thier way to us.
For the most part I'm very proud of my store. I try to be a cut above what you generally would expect to find in a retail store. Usually I succeed. Sometimes I don't. But I always try to maintain the best standards and quality that I possibly can. Thank you for your kind words and support. Being critical about my business is good too. It pushes me to improve, which I always strive to do.

You're more then welcome. And you are welcome back anytime. Next time let one of us show you a good looking Sandfish though lol. I really liked your photos a lot. I was alerted that someone came in the store and took a lot of photos to show how bad the store looked, but when I looked at your shots I just thought "these are really good photos". I wish I could take as nice of ones as you did. I really suck at picture taking, even with a new camera. I'm happy you enjoyed your visit. Like I said, come back anytime. I was off yesterday, so next time you stop by ask for me so I can say howdy.
