    Savu Python!!!
I recently bought a female Savu Python, and I have to say I love these little snakes they only get 3-4ft and go through an extreme color change like GTP's. Now I'm searching for a male so I can breed these wonderful little python's as they live on an Island called Sawu right next to New Guinea and it's only 10 miles long and 6 miles wide. These animals have the smallest geographical range of any python species.

Sorry about the bad cell picture but I've been too lazy to get some good shots with the camera haha they will come soon.

They aren't very common, not until a month ago did I ever see one in person lol. I'm working with some less popular species, like Spotted Python's, Children's Python's, and Savu's, then the common ones Ball Python's and Carpet Python's.

They vary, this little girl is placid and hasn't struck yet, but my buddy Derek has a pair and the male is a biter but the female is laid back. But like most snakes they are this way as babies so they usually grow out of being nippy.

Awesome little girl! When we have more free space (when I get my next rack :P ) I was thinking of looking for a trio to keep. I love the white eyes they get as adults

I know right! these snakes are so cool, I love watching the color change. I figured everyone else would like to observe her color change as well, so I will keep updating as she gets darker. I haven't seen anyone else document the full color change in these snakes.

I read that there is little disagreement with classification of that specie... Some classified them as sub-specie of Macklot's python some tread them as seperate specie... I seen some adds on kingsnake.. and really think about getting some :]

I'm really developing big interest in MINI-PYTHONS ;)

So cute. I don't think I've ever seen one of these before. Their eyes remind me of a retic a bit!

    Update Pics
Changed up her bedding and tried out coconut fiber, she seems to dig it.

Mini Pythons are the best kind! Savu Python, Spotted Python, Children's Python, Stimpsons Python, Anthill Python [A bit more tricky to keep when dealing with newborns] and you got em all.
