    A pink snake?
My oldest just requested a "pink" snake. Mind you she is almost 3, and wants everything pink. My question is are there any snakes that are pinkish in color besides corns that aren't too big, and mild tempered? She likes all of my BPs(even knows which are "het bino"), so I'd like to get one for her to watch grow of another sepecies. Any recommendations are welcome.

Albino hoggies are kind of pinkish. Hognoses are like the cutest thing ever, and stay pretty small.
My 3yr old daughter claims my big normal bp girl as her own :) My 6yo hasn't claimed one for herself...yet.

Maybe an albino or snow Kenyan sand boa would be good.

    Masticophis flagellum piceus.

    Not for kiddies though.

Beat me to it. Yep, some of the corn morphs are pinkish or lavender, depending on which morph you go with. Mild tempered and stay a manageable size.

If going morphs there's a pink pastel western hognose. Could also check out some of the southern pine morphs.

This is my little girl "Cassie", she's not an albino but is adorable. stubborn girl just came off a hunger strike. Scary there for a minute because she's so young.

Thanks for the options! I'll look into them and see if I can pull something together, and get approval from hubby. He's the one who doesn't like big snakes. He doesn't mind the BPs, but doesn't like when they are out especially if he hears them hiss when I pull them out:rolleyes:

Bubblegum rat snake!!! My old roommate had one and it was a nice pale bubblegum pink with a bright orange belly :)

Or what about a boa? maybe a hypo, albino, or sunglow? i like to think my sunglow is pretty pink :)

I like boas, but sadly they freak my husband out because of their size. It also doesn't help that I housed a friends 2 boas for about 6 months, and his biggest girl(about 1400 grams) would strike at anyone who walked by her no matter how often she was fed. I almost got bit on several occasions when I was trying to feed her. Otherwise I would love to have a boa:( Maybe in a few years when we have a better place, so he doesn't have to be around it so much.

Pink pastel or albino hognose are awesome recommendations. I just love hognoses! Also the bubblegum rat is a beautiful snake, but really not much different than a corn snake. And there are a few corn morphs that are quite pink. My motley snow is white with pink pattern!
