FYI - sale on beardie food
What can I say, Im in love! I didnt expect what I was about to see when I opened that box from NERD. What a powerful and gorgeous looking animal Kara sent me. After letting him get room temp (82) for biu 45 min. I opened his container and gently pet him to let him know I was there, that toung started flicking he was so alert and calm at the same time. I gently picked him up and to my suprise he had to be about 20 inches and thicker than I could have imagined from the pics Kara sent us. He accepted my handling like an ace. I wholeheartedly recomend anybody thinking of another snake to consider a short tail from Kara you will get more than you pay for!!

Cool, Paul. I am sure you'll settle on something that suits him. And it's great that your wife is interested. She might even come to like the lil guy. :)

This is a perfect example of quotation marks or the lack there of changing the meaning of a scentence.IT makes it seem as though i dont want ideas for a name, what I should have written is

now thats one Ive been wrestling with, and Im still not sure, ideas ARE welcome, although Im tossing 2 names around right now.

Sorry I sounded otherwise , please if you guys have any ideas for cool names send em my way.

Glad he got there safe & sound, and that you're so happy with him!!! :) :)

    For names, check this out:

    http://www.homepagers.com/general/gen1.htm

It's a baby name database. If you want to find names that "mean" a certain thing, on the drop-down menu next to the word "Index" (to the right of the search bar), change the setting to "meaning" and put the word in the search bar that you want to look for. (let me know if that doesn't make sense)

    Stanley is a nice name.

OK, more for an old man than a stp. :) I think he looks like a Vlad. Alternatively, I think Judge would be a fine name for him.

How about Albert (as in fat albert)? Thick snakes need thick names.
  • 04-01-2004, 04:21 PM
    Smulkin
    Gordo (spanish = large/fat)
    Ganesh

    . . . damn now I'm dried up on names :P

He's not an elephant! He's just a stocky snake. I still like Vlad. :)

    How about Nosferatu?

Also, you may want to get to know him for a week or so prior to naming him. Give yourself a chance to really see the different facets of his personality - a name may come to mind that suits him perfectly once you get to know him.
