I have a female slightly over 3500 grams she is my biggest and she is 6 years old.

last time I weighted my biggest, she was around 2800g, shes about 5 years old.

Yup I'm not anywhere near the title of biggest on the forum. I do own a kit car Ferrari to compensate tho. :)

My biggest is also around 2800 and 5' long, but I don't know her age unfortunately. She has the biggest head though!

Just bought a new hey hypo female. The guy doesn't know what she weighs as she maxes out his 2400 gram scale, so I guess I have to wait another couple of months to figure that one out! She is right at 5' long, however.

Definitely don't own any unusually big BPs. I heard about "Ghana giants" a while back, and supposedly they're able to get a couple hundred/thousand grams bigger

I normally use one of my 28 qt tubs when I weigh her, but it is difficult to get a picture of the scale with the tub.

My biggest gal has been floating between 2100-2400 grams for the past few months. Of course, that's not a record breaking weight but she eats like a hog and grows very fast so I'm thinking she'll be able to reach 3000 grams in a couple of years.

I do think larger BPs are something to behold though! I remember seeing a 3500+ Normal girl for sale on Kingsnake (maybe larger now that I think of it) and I also recall a breeder who had a 5000 gram girl who appeared to have the genetics for gigantism that threw babies who would reach up to 1500 grams in a year.

so what do you need to weigh it?

That would be brian gundy. I recently bought a 3000+g female from him. Sadly his 5000 gram girl passed away and now only has his 4500+g female.

You're thinking of the sub Saharan giants. It's a locale of balls that is known to get larger with larger heads and big clutches.

Oh, that's unfortunate to hear! Hopefully he'll be able to keep the project alive through he progeny though.

Out of curiosity, how old is your 3000+? I could be wrong but I thought he wasn't selling those snakes.

He said around 15 years old. He wants to get out of normals and he has a lot of single or multiple morph adult females. Even though his bps eat live, they easily took f/t which I was happy about. Great guy.

Our biggest girl is a normal and weighs in at 3600 grams, we have two other girls that are at 3000grams currently. I believe our smallest breeding female is at 1600 grams. Gotta love those big girls!

So what type of scale do I need to buy to weigh a snake?

I use a kitchen gram scale tha I got from Walmart for $20

I have a 6 year old Female flirting with 4000 grams she's huge.

Mine is a Sub Saharen she is 3800gm. John, that is one huge animal!! Awesome. Anyone work out the genetics on the sub saharens?

Just watched a video of brian gundy's 5000g girl she is HUGE. and o so pretty

I know my girl isn't the biggest, but she's doing pretty good. She just turned two when I got her this past August and was 1950 grams. I just weighed her again this past Sunday and she's over 2600 grams now. I'm so happy she loves to eat :)

I have a girl that laid 15 eggs and 4 slugs...She's 6'+ and well over 10 pounds...I'll try to get some pics soon!

I don't know man, I've seen some huge albino gals.

I've got a couple of big girls myself.

Akashi is pushing 6', and before she laid her 12 egg clutch she was 3900 + grams. She has been back on the food and is currently about 3300.

I also have a Ghana/Sub Saharan Giant girl. While she's only about 5' 5" and around 3400 grams, she had a MUCH larger head and neck than Akashi does. It is my hope she'll one day reach the fabled 7000 gram mark they are supposed to be able to attain.

So I see a 4200 gram and a 10+ lb (4536 gram) ball python on this thread. Anyone have anything bigger? Pics on a scale and pics for size reference would be great to see.

Does anyone know what is the largest recorded bp? Google is giving me a lot of stuff I don't really believe.

My biggest ever was a rescue who was close to 3000 g before I gave her to my nephew. I just texted him to see what her weight is now. I'll repost when he gets back to me.
