My first Morelia! Baby pure coastal carpet female!
Here's my other new addition from today: my little pure Coastal Carpet female baby from Mike Curtin! This is the one I made a thread about a couple weeks ago asking for input on which female to go with, and I had to go with my gut in the end and choose the darker banded female. I am NOT disappointed! Her coloring is beautiful and she's just a well mannered little lady. She's very tiny too at only 36 grams (May '12 baby)! I can't wait to watch her grow and see how she takes her first rat pink.

    Here's little "Soova":

Congrats! I also got my first carpet recently. They are very different from the ball pythons. Good luck with your little lady. :gj:

Thanks guys! I always hear how great carpets are and I love this little one already.

Kinra: We'll have to compare growth pics since I think yours was a baby too. :)

Thanks guys! I can't wait to see her grow, though I know I'm already going to miss this little worm stage. She took her first f/t rat pinky for me no issue last week (lazy little thing: didn't even uncoil herself to stalk it, just took it right off tongs) so I'm anticipating her next feeding. Will take better pics when she's more settled in!

Had to update this since the pics my bf took are share-worthy IMO :) My little Soova has been settling in just fine and eating every rat pink offered so I took her out last night to start her handling sessions and she decided to be a stinker! First she bit the top of my thumb but then decided later to clamp on for several minutes! lol (I didn't remove her, I let her be until she decided to unclamp herself). What a goober; she's so cute. Wanted to share some pics:
