Re: Ghost???
Cool, nice to know that :) thanks guys.
Looking forward to buy the 2nd BP.....kinda interested in butter/mojo/spider female.Saw a very light colored spider female at a shop near my place,at first i thought it was a low contrast bumblebee :P.
Since i kinda like light colors BP and those 3 are the most affordable morph for me, morph BP's were quite expensive here.Cost about $400-500 each for those 3 morphs(female) hatchlings :(.
Well of course do need opinion, which morph do you guys think is better for future breeding project with my male ghost?:)

Nice ghost! Of the three you listed, all combinations look nice when the hypo gene is added, but I'll pick the butter since I saw a hot butter ghost this past weekend. See if you can find a butter het ghost female so you can go for butter ghosts on the first breeding. Good luck! :)

Definately an Orange Ghost. I would go with the butter as well. This is a butter ghost we produced this year.

Thats a ghost and i think ghost anythying is hot, so you cant go wrong lol! Hypo mojo, hypo butter, and honeybees are all hot.
Keep in mind though that if you breed them you wont produce any visual ghosts the first year. Only hets.

Wow this first time i see a butter ghost....what great lookin one.I'll try to look for those 3 morph females that is suitable with my wallet :D.Would love to breed some hypo mojo/butter, and honey bees. But there is one major problem, like i said before, here we don't get any papers or certificate for BP's. Is there any possible way to know any ghost hets just by the look of the snake?

No, het are just a huge trust on the breeder and their rep;)

This. Worst case scenario is that you end up finding a really, really good example of one of those three morphs you're interested in that isn't a 100% het hypo, breed your ghost male to it and produce your own hets. The process takes longer, but at least you're guaranteeing you have 100% hets to work with. Either way, it's a win-win since this is a fun hobby. :)

Well if you buy a butter het ghost or spider het ghost female but only get a butter or a ghost then no, i would not call that a win. I like my money and dont like wasting it on false genetics lol.

Lol, I completely agree, I need someone to smack me in the head... let me clarify... still need some coffee. :)
If you don't want to spend the extra money because you aren't sure if someone is actually selling you a 100% het, there isn't anything wrong, in my opinion, in purchasing a great example of the morph that is not het for hypo (at a not het for hypo price!!!) and producing your own selectively bred hets. You're then guaranteed that they are het for hypo.
I think that made sense, but I still need the caffeine lol. :D
