    Congrats! Male or female?

I love the head color. :gj:

P.S. I also got my first blood from Blood Mafia at Tinley. Their little ones are super friendly. :D

I had heard that little bloods tend to be mean.....WRONG!!
She is such a sweetheart; she has never even acted like she was skittish or bitey, just very curious and "aware"....it seems like she watches everything you do lol.
Blood Mafia was great; they answered all of our newbie questions and assured us that we could call anytime with questions or concerns. :gj:

I've actually had some bad experiences with bloods in the past. There was one I met that was the most agressive little thing I had ever seen, and by little I'm guessing it was already over 1000g. It struck at everything. :O

Mine is a lot like yours in temperment, except she doesn't really seem to watch. She goes along her merry way and doesn't care what I do really. If my hand gets in the way she goes around. :P

I totally agree that Blood Mafia was great. I can't wait to see yours when it's a little bigger. :gj:

That's funny, I named my blood python "sweetheart" because of the "snake kiss" I got on our first day together :D

She lives up to her name now, for the most part plenty of grumpy snake stereotypes for certain species are overstated. We do have one snake that truly is one of those that will take a swing at you any moment you give her a chance, but she is a brazilian rainbow boa.

And I'd bet dollars to doughnuts you have very little experience with well-bred bloods & STPs. Nothing nasty about them! :)

Why would you post that in the blood python forum? Bloods are like any other snake some have great attitudes some have poor attitudes. I have seen bloods that were puppy dog tame and balls that had attitude problems.

Anyway Op beautiful snake, congrats on the pickup.

Lolol, thanks guys! This thread is over a year old, I have no idea how the original post got reposted :confusd:
But since it has been brought to the top, I'll give an update!
She is getting big and is healthy. I got a showcase cage to house her in. She LOVES her kitty litter pan full of sphagnum moss, and is eating retired breeder rats. Sorry for the bad cell phone pic, I was by myself and had to hold her one handed.
