that's likely to be over half the suggestions on any forum this question gets fielded on, and I would venture that there is zero chance Ralph Davis has any desire to reveal the genetics behind the flatline. if he did, he would probably have already done so by now. personally I'd like to hear his take on the platinum from front to back if he's willing. I understand generally how the 'daddy' gene works and the effect it has on particular morphs, but there are still a few gaps in my knowledge.

also my thanks to herp herp hooray. really nice to see this kind of podcast.

Why does he not attend reptile expos or the NARBC shows like the other big whigs in the reptile indusrty?

ask him about why no shows like everyone said, ask him about the flatline, ask him if he can make a better website so its easier to see what he has for sale!
and what i really want to know..
What was his favorite clutch to hatch out? even if it was his first breeding, or the the dreamsicle or w.e?

    This THIS THIS THIS!!

    My question for RD:

You're very well known in the history of BEL-complex traits, particularly because of your work with the platty daddy's and lesser platinums. We've seen BEL-complex traits in spectacular combinations now that they've been in peoples' hands for enough generations, so where do you think the future of BEL-complex traits lies with regards to breeding designer ball pythons?

    Do you like pie?

And could we have more pictures of your adults?

And say thank you for all he has contributed over the years, both in genetics AND in encouragement to even the newest of newbies.

Have you made a mojo-daddy? And, if so, what does it look like?

He said the flatline was a new line of super reduced clown x something else. My guess is tangerine. There's only 2 genes in there

He said he got tired of the drunken scene. He says he worries too much about his snakes when they're out, and he doesn't make sales compared to just staying home and selling out. He said people just come to look at him, and not to buy snakes.

C'mon guys! Listen to the podcast :gj:

Haha! His website is horrible! But from the sounds of it he doesnt have the time to build a more user friendly website!
Ask him if I can rebuild his website! :D It will be cheap and unimpressive but it will definitely be user friendly...

    EDIT: h00blah beat me... :)
