    Which rack???
So i have decided to make the switch to a rack system I'm between the animal plastics iris cb70 4 tub rack and the boaphile ball room rack, they look pretty simular and the prices are about the same. Just wondering if anyone has any reason why i should buy one over the other one.

The only problem i have with AP is it takes them 6 weeks to complete a rack.

    its the same with Boaphile...

Reptile Basics has the distinct advantage on that front. I just wish that they had a bigger selection.

There is a guy in Calgary Alberta Canada. His name is Greg West and he is amazing. He makes custom racks. I purchased a 4 bin 30qt tubs rack with 11" back heat and a VE-100 thermostat. He also has an option for removable bin dividers and I got 3 of those. He will also ship. I do t k ow where you are located but it might be something worth checking out.

Im honestly not sure if he makes them to order or not. Try emailing him.

No 4" belly heat tape is enough to create a nice hotspot.

I'm an RBI guy on my racks. Wanted to go with some of the others, but the wait times were insane! I contacted them directly and it was still going to be an 8 week min for most places. RBI gets me a 3 stack CB-70 rack in under a week. They stack great, and I have yet to have any issues with any of them or my iris racks from RBI. Just my two cents.

I just had dinner with him last night. He was saying how he loves the other guys long lead times, because he can turn them around much faster and gets more business that way. Really nice guy too.

x2 on the nice guy remark. He takes a lot of pride in his work, also.

Got a ballroom rack from Boaphile last week.
Not happy with it at all. Very weak in design. I had to screw it to the wall so it doesn't feel like it's going to come apart. (no way in hell i would stand on it like he does) The 1960 tubs have concave handles and a lip around the bottom. I wish the v70 tubs would fit.

Love his cages and have a smaller 6 tub rack that is awesome.

Waited over 8 weeks for it.

Already looking for a new adult rack system.

I have yet to order a rack from Greg, but my first dealing with him on my PVC enclosure was amazing. I'm going to be getting my incubator from him as well.

Greg is super great try to order the 17 inch flexwatt from him... it will re-affirm the faith in his customer service.

"The 17" doesn't get hot enough, so I would
recommend just going with the 11" heat tape. " -Greg West

In a later note he states that he has quite a lot and would like to be rid of it... but is still not willing to sell it unless he is certain you know what you are getting. he is a good guy to deal with he will not knowingly sell something to you that you don't actually want/need.

Sounds like a stand up guy.

Says a lot when a person cares more about your snakes than your money.
