Any more pics in better lighting? Also is it a pewter or a black pewter? That would probably effect peoples answers.

Looks just like my Black Pewter. Not sure how you would tell the Fire gene from Pastel, so interested to hear other responses.

Looks like a Pewter to me. Fire really lightens things up. Nice looking Pewter.

It almost still looks pewter, but I am honestly leaning towards fire pewter after the comparison and over head shot. You can tell the one of the left has a pretty well defined partial stripe towards the tail and from being that young already has very very high blushing on the browns which will only get lighter and lighter with each shed. Also the lighter shades in the striping is much lighter. You can not see the lighter head or head spots on it yet but I have a feeling that will come in and change drastically over time. They also have a lot more dorsal spot patterning than a pewter.

Of course I could be wrong, I only own a black pewter and she only lightens up with age which is kind of cool. I haven't seen a fire pewter personally but it does not look like a normal pewter or black pewter to me. if so it's pretty special i think!

    Pewter :D

The Fire combo really trashes(in a good way) out the pattern, especially towards the tail.

    Nice looking snake :gj:

I see two pewters. Pewters from the same clutch can look completely different.

Pewter.....they usually continue to lighten until they reach the 800-1200 gram mark then darken with age and size.

He's pewter. The fire gene has a big impact. There really wouldn't even be a question if he had it.

But he's also turning into a very NICE pewter. Congrats. :gj:

Here's one of LadyOhh's pewter clutches, with two dark pewters and two light pewters, so you can see how much they vary:

I see two pewters. One thing that should be present if it were fire, but isn't in this case, is the head stamp, and I am surprised that no one has brought that up yet.

Pewter fires don't have a head spot like fires ;)

    Definitely just a pewter...
