Small snake? Is this a normal?
I recently got a new snake. I am not sure how young he or she is but I am thinking young because of how small she is. Is she/he to small and is she a normal?
The spider I was told is about 2-4 months old. And the smaller snake is obviously the one I am asking about.

Whatever is more convenient for you. With an underweight ball python, it's best to start off slow and not very frequent and work your way up to an appropriate sized meal every 5-7 days. If you want to feed with your other snake, go for it! Most people feed closer together to get their snakes to breeding weight.

Most feed closer then 5-7 days for snakes to get to breeding weight? or they feed closer to 5 days rather then 7 to get to a breeding weight? Sorry I just got kinda confused by what you meant.

Really? Well I guess you learn something new everyday! About how small is a ball python straight out of the egg?
Well even if she is underweight like some have said or is just a younger ball python she is eating now so I suppose she will only be getting bigger from here!

Without them getting too fat looking because the meals are small.
That's exactly what I meant. For me, since I'm trying to get a girl up to breeding weight by next fall, I feed her on a 4 day schedule and I'm about to bounce her up to a 6 or 7 day schedule. But for you, feeding every 7 days is just fine!
One thing to watch out for is feeding an underweight baby too fast. You don't want them to regurgitate. Start off small and once a week for at least a month or two. Then you can bump up the size and the frequency of meals.

Looks like a really dark normal. I agree with the above about the feeding schedule. You definitely do not want to rush them too quickly to put on weight. Once a week for a month and then you should be able to up their routine to every 5 days if you prefer. Good luck!
