    Non Blue Eye Leucistic Mojave-Butter??
Hello this are the pictures of my friends male "Butter-Mojave". He is son of a Pastave Male and Butter female. The snake looks like a Butter but with Mojave pattern. If he has both genes (Mojave and Butter) why isn't he a Blue Eye Leucistic?? I would like to have some feedback.

It's not a Butter Mojo...It would have to be a Lucy if that was the case.

Its because he isn't a BEL. He doesn't have two genes. He just looks like a busy patterned butter to me. He doesn't even have a proper mojave pattern. Mojos have larger key hole patterns in the alien heads.

And because he only carries the butter gene, there is no way he can be a BEL.

No no no no he didn't thought that he had a BEL, he (and I) thought that the snake was showing characteristics of both Mojave and Butter without been a BEL. That was my question.

I was all excites to see a white snake with some weird eye color the came the pic of a butter. A pretty butter but certainly no chance of being a BEL.

I think it is a very cool looking butter. BUT if you think that something crazy happened and the morph gods along with the odds gods got together and played a trick on us, you could always hold it back and breed to a normal and see what you get. Either way it's a very cool looking snake.

I am not seeing butter you guys.

I see a very light, super duper belly flames mojave. The color isn't even close to being a butter. Not any butter I've ever seen anyway. Butters are golden, this guy is not.

I'd tell your friend he has one seriously cool mojave baby. Is he going to keep it ?

Now I'm the one confused. Maybe the photo doesn't show the true color but I was the one who took the pictures, I was at my friends house to pick up one of his Fires (LOL) and it is golden as you said. Maybe I'm wrong.

I say its a mojave, just a nice light one, but the blown-out pictures wont help in determining what it is. OP if you could give better pics, over a neutral say white background (not green) and ones that are not blown out by the flash so the color can more easily be seen. But again I think it looks like a mojave.

He can't he doesn't speak English. LOL!

    Don
I think the problem with folks confused if it is a butter or mojave is that green background (with poor lighting) is reflecting off the snake making it hard to determine what it is. That background is competing with the colors in the snake.

I understand what the OP is asking.

My only thought is, and I don't generally take to this kind of statement on the interwebs, but..

Your friend is an idiot, or at the very least completely ignorant of the BEL complex traits.

    Sorry for the harsh words.

I don't get it. When or where did I said that we thought that the snake was a BEL??? WHERE?? I'm new here so I'm not answering your insult saying that you can't read a simple question. Read the title of the post "NON Blue Eye Leucistic Mojave-Butter QUESTION MARK" What I was asking was how a Snake that apparently was showing traits of both Butter and Mojave and wasn't a BEL. Some people who did read the question have answered saying that the didn't think is a mojave or that they didn't think that is a butter and therefor, it wasn't showing both genes as we thought.

I just love people who post without reading.

If you can get different pictures of him, against a white or tan background, and if you have to cover your camera flash with a kleenex to diffuse the flash. Then we can see his true colors better. Maybe it's just my poor eyesight, but I still think it looks more Mojave than Butter.
