This little guy has me wondering

My male dinker is throwing me for a loop. I was trying to come up with what is going on with him, but I have no clue.
To me he has an enchi appearance, his side colors are extremely peachish/ orangish. He has a nice banded thing going on, and has blue eyes.... I haven't been in this hobby long enough to know the subtle signs of something. He has a sweet honey brown head spot I couldn't really get on camera, and weird perfect spot blushing on his back. Let me know if anyone sees anything I am not.

The pictures aren't the best, it's overcast out but are taken from my iPhone. I know he's not normal, there is something here..... But I'm open to all suggestions.

It is a very colorful animal, but it looks like a normal. You would be amazed at the many color variations that are found in normals. When you see an Enchi up close sometime, you will understand the dramtatic difference.

I went from table to table at the last 2 expos looking at enchis. It amazes me how much he resembles an enchi. From the coloring, to the banding crossing over his back. I really feel there is something here. I wish I had a new lens for my canon so I couldn't take a better photo.
What about the pastel-like blue eyes? Is that a trait carried by normals?

I have seen many normals, and he stands out without a doubt. In person there is no mistaking that he's different.
Maybe I haven't seen normals that don't look normal, but compared to the hundreds of normals I've seen for sale, he's special.

Pair him to an enchi or yb and see what pops out ;)

I'm just seeing a banded normal personally, but if you like him hang onto him. I have a "dinker" male that reminds me of a Mojo and I have plans to pair him to a Mojo girl to see what comes from the pairing.

That's the goal, my next buy will probably be a female lesser. Than it's yb and enchi girls.
What's up with the blue eyes? I know they are a pastel trait. They look identical to my lemon pastel's eyes. I'm wondering if the blue eyes are just a recessive trait shared among all balls, or more specific to a certain morphs.

Green eyes are actual more of a known pastel trait to my knowledge. A pastel doesnt have to have green eyes to be a pastel though.

Do you have any closeup shots of the eyes? When you say blue im picturing BEL blue eyes.

Well more of an aqua blue. I just went and compared eyes between my pastel and this guy. The pastel's eyes are a little more green, and these are a tad more blue.
It was hard to get a good picture, and using my iPhone doesn't help. I'm in the process of getting another lens for my canon.

Not an enchi.

Are you sure it isn't the glare of the light making you think it's eyes are blue? I'm seeing the brown eyes of a normal.. Slightly lighter on the top half due to the stripe..

When I think of unusually blue eyes on a dark snake that shouldn't have blue eyes I think of this..

I wondered that myself, but I have analyzed in different lighting and they are still bluish. My girlfriend actually pointed it out to me. There's no mistaking the bluish coloring in person. I know how this sounds, I've read this forum up and down. " Hi I have this extremely normal ball python..... But I swear it's a champ, enchi, fire, spider, yb het for everything."
I'm don't want people to see me as that guy, I'm not that guy lol.
But something is off about him, I wish he was of age to try and prove something in him.
Thanks for everyone's help, hopefully he lightens up even more and gets nicer as he ages. Either way he should be a nice addition to clean and color up some other projects.

But if he was any of those his belly would be clean. Can we see a couple good belly pics?

I'm not sure if you caught my sarcasm.... I was saying I'm not here saying he's every morph under the sun. I just think he has something going on, and was hoping to see if anyone felt similar.
They only morph he resembles to me is enchi. But like I said " resembles" I'm by no means saying he is an enchi... I'm just curious if people see something.

I don't really see anything super crazy with his belly.... But what do I know, I thought he looked like an enchi 😜

He IS a really nicely colored baby, no doubt about it.

I don't think he's anything enchi, truthfully that banding doesn't always mean enchi. About the blueish eyes, I have discovered it is not uncommon for very young balls to have blueish eyes. I had several mojave and normal hatchlings that had it.

He looks nearly identical to a normal I one had from a pet store. { I know, I know } His banded and reduced pattern make him worth a shot at breeding, just to see if he passes it on.

You know looking at his belly pics, he even has the "het pied" tracks there for just a bit. Sometimes we want our guys to be something special so badly. I had high hopes for a baby I hatched. She was really light and had a faded head and some nice blushing. She was from a vanilla pairing, and I really wanted her to be a vanilla. But sadly, she never changed enough for me to say she's anything but a super nice normal. It sucked because I want a vanilla female so bad.

Your little guy is very nice. The longer you look at him, the more traits you can pick out. His belly flames, banded pattern, some blushing, and that lovely peachy color on his sides that I've seen over and over again, that sadly never lasts past about 300 grams. I could see me dinking around with him, just because he really is a cool baby.

The yellow on the sides is just like my het girl, and is gorgeous, but I don't think it means anything. Enjoy him, and if you want to you can breed him when he's older.

i think it could be one of those normals that brighten stuff up idk....

Thanks again everyone. The funny thing is he was purchased for me by a stranger..... I accept he is a normal, I was hoping that some of his subtle traits meant something was hiding. The blue eyes threw me for a loop yesterday, that's the only reason I decided to see if anyone seen anything. Well, looks like I'm on the market for an enchi now lol.

Yea I was in my local pet shop, I was browsing and started talking to a lady about everything reptile. Shortly before I got there someone dropped a Cali banded king off to me at my house, they couldn't care for it anymore and the child was scared of it. I needed to pick up a few things for him, and mentioned rescue to the lady. We talked for a while about the iguana she rescued. While standing there my girlfriend noticed an odd bp in with the others. I immediately noticed which one she was talking about. I asked to take it out and look at it, I'm fell in love with it after that. Due to my finances at the time I couldn't buy him. The lady seen how much I loved him and asked me if I would provide a good home for him. I asked of course I would, but he's wasn't in my budget at the moment. She asked me again, would I provide him with a good home.... I said absolutely, but I needed to provide for the animals I currently have and buying him would hurt me at that moment. She then asked me if I wanted him.... I said I wish, but..... She then cut me off and said I will buy him for you if you promise he'll have a good home. I refused at first, but her daughter said that there was no way she wouldn't let me take him home. She told me no dollar amount would deter the fact that she would rather see him in a good home than a tank at a store. I'm not good with people buying things for me, it makes me feel kind of funny. She told the lady to ring it up, I didn't know what to say..... As I filled out the temp. Permit paperwork we continued to talk, she seemed just as happy as me. She told me if she had the space she would take every animal home lol... Sounds like me.
