    My NEW and FIRST spider
Here's the guy I picked up from the Lone Star Reptile Expo . He may not be a perfect looking spider, but I don't care. I think his color pattern and high flare are beautiful. I had to have him.

He's a cute little guy, that's for sure, no matter if he is a good or bad specimen of a spider :)

And he is so sweet. Not head shy at all. He needs some TLC though. He is just 34 days old and has only had one meal and one shed. I gotta start fattening him up. And so far . . . .NO HEAD SHAKE!

That is good to hear! Always good to hear when they are calm and not skittish. I hope to get a spider sometime in the future. They are amazing animals. Also good to hear that there are no signs of the head shake

That's not a bad looking spider. Besides, it is what you like in him that makes him special. :gj:

Mine looks like he could a brother to that one. Love the colors from bottom to top. And how the brown down the spine looks almost neon green in bright light. They're gonna look soooo good in a couple years when they're big!

    Congrats!

I know you didn't ask for advise, but that tub looks like it would be difficult to have a hot and cold side. Tubs don't cost very much so it wouldn't take much to go get a shoe box tub to put him in. That way you can put the heat under 1/3rd of the tub and still easily have a cool side.

Aww he's lovely. I just love the spiders. Their facial markings make them look so expressive.
