Was thinking of geeting a 6 foot tree with some sort of netting around it for my snake to climb in without escaping. Any Ideas?
-
6 foot tree for ball python
i guess that'd be cool, kind of like a temperary enclosure for exercise. couple of lamps, a tree, and some ultra-tight netting and you're good.

SECOND BEHIND DENIRO????!!! WHOA WHOA WHOA... PACINO IS FIRST..

Please rename thread and move to General, for it has been royally jacked

yea I got an encloser you should check out my photos of my tank, I just wanted to have a tree in my living room just for my snake to climb on, if you think of any ideas for setting it up let me know.
-
Do they like to climb once they become adults?
-
-
New BP pics (outside)
for setting it up:
I worked at a paintball field for like four years... I would go get me some lumber frame out a standing box around the tree and run netting so that the tree could stand inside the netting. Decreasing the chances the snake would get tangled
-
do you paintball? I would like to paintball, I spend most my time playing counter strike that game rocks.
-
Mine is not an adult and likes to climb on things.
-
paintballing is the best!!!
soooo much fun
counterstrike is ok but URBAN TERROR kicks the sh!t outta CS

If you didn't buy quake 3, then you'll have a hard time playing online these days. I started out with a um....borrowed version of the game and quickly ran out and bought quake gold, which comes with q3 and q3 team arena. You can then run the "check for quake updates" exe and you're good to go. Also punkbuster, an anti-cheat program is included with the latest update. That checks for authentic cd keys against id software's database as well.
You can still find a few servers out there that run old versions and have punkbuster disabled...gamespy or the all seeing eye are good for finding them. Gamespy/fileplanet can get you hooked up with updates should you need to search for them manually. You must be running Urban Terror 2.3 or 2.6?
Big fan of this mod! Anyone reading who happens to have Quake 3 do yourself a favor and check it out!
Oh yeah, that avatar still cracks me up
-
Urban terror BLOWS CS out of the water. But aren't they making urban terror all free online and changing the name soon anyway?
-
Ok, I just looked and there is no auto update......
Strange UT.net is no good for you...
Hey have you tried True Combat yet? Check it out
-
Sheesh, this thread is meandering all over the place...but since it keeps coming back to snake-stuff, I'll leave it here.
I know a guy on another forum who has a huge "tree" in his living room for his snakes to climb on. He mostly has yellow anacondas, but he also has one very large male bp. The 'condas and the bp climb all over that thing, rather frequently. He doesn't have any nets or anything around it, he just supervises whenever they are out of their enclosures. ....I guess if you're building something like this for a baby snake, though, you'd want to net it because it'd be a lot easier to lose a baby than it would to lose a fat, fully grown bp.
I've also seen a couple pics of wild adult bp's up in trees. It may be as much a matter of opportunity as anything. We assume they don't care to climb when they get older, so we don't give them anything worth climbing on.
