stress reducers :)
So everyone has their own things they turn to to relieve stress lol I woke up to all bad news such as my ex after 4 years will be in jail or 6 months and a few other things. Well I got out my POG girl and turned on some Korn and I can't express how happy I am right now to just have these snakes in my life! To me they will always be the best thing in my life :) I will always have them, but anyways how do others relieve heavy stress?

Re: stress reducers :)
I enjoy doing these things to reduce stress:
shooting guns
sparring and helping my family with their martial arts
getting on my tractor and moving dirt and mowing
watching my snakes and rats
working in the garage

Re: stress reducers :)
Both of my snakes are great stress reducers. When I feel the need to relax I get my 2 year old male normal out for some handling and it greatly chills me out. I love hanging out with my favorite boy.

I play with my cat if I've had a bad day. She's an amazing animal and always knows when I'm upset. Heck, even if I have a tummy ache or a headache and I'm laying down, she'll come snuggle up against me (normally she does not sit on people. She will sit beside you at a polite distance).
My leopard gecko is an awesome little stress reliever too.
I really want to get myself a female ball python, though. My other half has a gorgeous little male Pied (originally bought for myself), but they've clicked and now it doesn't feel like my snake, haha. So I need to get myself a little girl.
I also used to do archery to calm down if I was upset too. I'm getting back into that.
Or, baking. Nothing makes a person feel better than baking up a batch of warm chocolate chip cookies, which makes the house smell amazing, then sitting down to a handful of them with a glass of milk and channel surfing. Guilty pleasure? Absolutely.

Pet the cat. Pet the snake. Pet the trouser-snake. :snake:
I'm gonna' get banned from this forum. LoL.
Play video games. Hang with friends. Play the drums. Little green trees once in a while.

I yell like an angry cave man and then I go on a King Kong rampage and destroy everything in my path which is usually a few logs that fall victim to an axe or a big tire that I pound on with a sledge hammer. Another thing I do is burn stuff. Fire calms me down. I have yet to burn down a forest or any residential/commercial properties. :D

I'm at the gun range right now, work pissed me off like it always does...

I dont really get stressed. I mean i do for short little periods of time but after a bit im fine again. I dont really let things get to me and rarely get emotional like that. On the rare occasion something is bothering me, ill usually go for a long drive and that helps.

I run down to the corner store and buy like, twelve lollipops the me and my dog run up and down our street and play ding dong ditch! Lol. Or I redecorate the big giant critter nation rat cage I have my pet rats in.:weirdface

Praying is always number one. Shooting guns is a great stress relief. A hot bath never hurts(that could be a girl thing), and my snakes. I could watch fish all day too I think.

Motorcycle :)
Sadly the season is ending soon and I'll have to resort to indoor rock climbing.

Re: stress reducers :)
I head to the stables for stress relief. Even if I don't go for a ride and all I do is groom, the more I brush the better I feel.
