What does your bp.net name mean?

For those of you willing to share, what does your "name" mean or where does it come from?

Mine is from Bugs Bunny. The episode where Bugs races the tortoise, the tortoise is named Cecil Turtle.

mine expresses my two interests, riding/racing quads and breeding reptiles!

My middle name / nickname + reptiles :)
Though I plan on doing a forum name change in a year or so when / if we start to breed and get a business going.

Mine is the first letter of my first name (K), and my middle name (Tyne). :)

RoseyReps sounds like a good name for a reptile business to me!

Andy is short for Andrew and Bill is the totally random shortened name for William (Idk how they figured Bill works well to shorten William) and thus Andybill is born. I have a nickname that I earned in the service that I wanted to use but I wasnt sure it would have been suitable for this forum. :D

I have a tendency to randomly say what is on my mind without it being brought up in conversation, or related to any current activity. Over the years I have been told that I have a bit of a spastic personality. I have been referred to as a beast on the football field, in the gym and in a ton of other situations. Thus, I am a spasticbeast.:taz:

Mine is just. Well I don't really have any logic behind it. When I was a little kid, I used to make noises. One of them was hooblah. It sounded funny, and it stuck with me. My sister even did a painting for my 16th bday with the word "hooblah" :D.

mine comes from my 2 favorite things! Reptiles and Arachnids.. Simple as that!

Mine is from the Lord of the Rings. I have a thing for the movies (and I can relate to Arwen), but more than that, I bred German Shepherds for years and Evenstar was my kennel name. ;)

It's my snakes name :/

Satomi is my Japanese given name and American middle name.
325 is my birthday, which is March 25.

Daybreakers is one of my favorite movies and I watched it the day I made my account, so yeah :P

My first ball python's name is Flikky. Thought it was fitting 'cause he led me to get my other 2 and to form future breeding plans :) (love the thread idea, by the way)

We had one of these threads a few years ago, I think... but I never mind sharing the meaning of my user name. :)

It's the name of one of my (many) D&D characters. My avatar fits with the name, for the character is half elf, half silver dragon. :D Argent is latin for silver.

And FYI, no we do NOT play that horrid travesty that is 4th ed. We play a combo of 3, 3.5, and home brewed with bits of Pathfinder. :D

I used to have a bicycle that was made by the company Interloc Racing Designs.

I miss that bike :(

Names jacky.. always got the nickname jacksprat as a kid. i hated it so my sister called me jacksprat ALL THE TIME. When she died i really missed it...

It's my first name............just in case it wasn't obvious :rofl:

Mine is my nickname + my last name + reptiles. Stover Reptiles is what my hubby and I call our business-ish thing we've got going on and I like a username where you know the gender of the poster (this is also easily accomplished with the signature...but whatever...lol).

I chose Gaia as my name, because it's my bp's name! :D I named her for the goddess of the earth. Mythologically the daughter of Chaos and mother to the gods and goddesses. She was a rescue from a PetSmart as she has a slight jaw problem. They were going to have her euthanized for $25 just because they didn't want to work with her on her eating. I was lucky to be able to save her as I used to work for that particular store, and my old co-workers knew I could care for her appropriately. She's up to a healthy weight now and we are getting ready for our first shed together. She's a sweet baby girl.

Mine is after Death, the Horseman, who rides a pale horse ;)

another D&D player! I play 3.5 and pathfinder. 2 separate games right now.

Grune Augen (well, really 'grüne,' but the umlaut can be a pain/not show up sometimes so I just usually don't include it) means "green eyes" in German (and rather obviously, I have green eyes) and '86 is the year I was born. I made up this username ages ago when I started taking German in high school, and have used it in pretty much all situations requiring a username ever since.

I really...have no meaning for the name. I usually always do, but this time I just choose a random name for whatever reason. -shrugs- o.o I'll probably end up asking for a change to match a name I use for my various "businesses". It's just a name I use for my art commissions, and I'll be using a branched off version for my snakes as well.

I like to 'rassle' otherwise known as wrestling (real wrestling, not wwe stuff) + my last name.

Mine was the name of a guinea pig I had many years ago, and since I often use dead pets' names as passwords, I just grabbed it out of the bag. She was the meanest guinea pig ever. Bit me all the time. RIP, Fidget.

My name means exactly what is says, I love love love ball pythons! I am sooooooooooo addicted to these snakes, lol.

Mine is my gamer name, Samalander which gets shortened to Sama most times. "Sam" is an assassin in the book Villians by Necessity by Eve Forward, one of my all time favorites! He explains his name when his friend makes fun of an assassin named like a plow horse. It is Samalander, not Salamander! Still sad they haven't made it into a Kindle book yet, my paper copy has been falling apart for years.

If your ever on Amazon look it up and click the "I'd like to read this book on Kindle" button, maybe someday they will get around to it.

I made up this name a long time ago...probably 8 years or more. If you google it, only I pop up (for the most part). It is just something unique that is almost never taken as a username. The only account I have that isn't just Kaorte is my AIM account... "IKaorte". I have no idea who took my name! I'm quite certain the person who did never used their account.

Mine is a typo from awhile back. I work on Photoshop and I was saving something, which was supposed to be titled "Haiku Fin" for 'Haiku Finished' and miss typed. I liked it, so I used to as a nickname.

Mine has been my game name for the past 10ish years(wow I feel so old). The tag was inspired by Orenishi from Kill Bill. It started in FFXI but someone had that name so I used Orenshi instead. The name has stuck in SOCOM, Call Of Duty, WoW, LoL, PSN, Xbox LIVE etc etc.

My name is kind of obvious I think...lol. I LOVE Xena Warrior Princess. :rolleyes: All of my snakes save for my normal male have Xena themed names as well...as will all future additions. The GTP I intend to get in a couple years will be Gabrielle...but so far that is the only predetermined name. :P

And "90" is the year I was born. ;)

:) Heck yeah! I've been playing since I was about 5. My dad was one of the first players of the original game. We have 2 separate games now as well, a totally home grown made and run by my beloved BF/partner similar in some ways to Dragonlance, and a Star Wars Saga edition game. Both on RPOL.net as our group is scattered between Texas, Colorado, and Washington. :D Some day we want to run a Harry Potter game. :gj:

And I'm not just a D&D girl, either. I love gaming in general, including console. We have a PS2, XBox 360 4gig, and a DSI. :D We'd probably have more...but being unemployed does not allow for the buying of games. :(
