Tub dividers
Has anyone figured out a good way to divide a tub in half to accommodate offspring, so 4 tubs can hold 8 animals?
-
I have RBI sweater bow rack, and the dividers for it and it works amazing. What type of rack you have?

Seems like photobucket is messing up? Or a new format? Anyone else having problems viewing the website and logging on to your pictures?
I will post my DIY dividers later when photobucket is fixed. But mine are very easy and you only need a dremmel.

Dang.. I don't have any Pictures now Just Checked Photobucket.. Gonna Snap one today... I have 2 House Snakes in one RBI sweater box tube with Divider...
Switching them to separate tubs within 2 week (female kind of outgrow half of tube lol)
Rich Carry them but if You gonna pick them on the Show You need to remind him like 2-3 days before weekend so He can grab them...

BTW link to RBI Dividers on Rich Page... Note that He is making them only for his 30/32 qt tube rack...
http://www.reptilebasics.com/rack-systems-for-mid-sized-snakes/mcb-l-tub-divider/
and for practical note.. Dividers first then Substrate is You Using anything different than paper.. otherwise Good Luck with Closing tube lolz...

not completely beautiful, but free and they work great!

Basically i made a template with cardboard and made sure there were no gaps inbetween the cardboard and the tubs. The material i use from home depot is real easy to cut and is prety sturdy ive even used it to divide 41qt tubs in half. After i cut it to how i like i just hot glue them in! When i disenfect my tubs i make sure they are completely submerged in a 1/10 bleach mix to make sure that all the gaps and holes are disenfected.
Think this is the stuff i bought

Re: Tub dividers
I also have the sweater box racks with the dividers from RBI. they work great. but be careful when closing, the tub can flex a little and you can get part of a snake under the divider with bad results. knowing this, I still would of purchase them. they work great, just need to be aware of this.

I have a couple from RBI, I bought a sheet of pvc so I could trace them and make more

I have some from RBI. Also had some custom made to fit an older Herp Enclosure rack. If you want to pay for customs, let me know and I'll go back through my emails and see if I can find the company that did it.
