I have 3 more I'm waiting on to start piping and yes its an awesome feeling this is my first clutch I think the other 3 are two spiders and a norm what do I do next? Do I keep the one that already started pipping covered or do I take the lid off? Thank you all for your replies

I have another lid with a few small holes in it. you need some type of lid so when they leave the egg and wonder, it's still in the egg box. congrats and good luck, don

Is it normal for them to take so long to pip? Around how long should I wait until I should start worrying?

did you put each egg in a different tub? if so the temp might been a little different. I see babies pip on day 65 so just keep a eye on them. congrats

Congrats on the new baby! I usually wait for one to start pipping on its own and then pip the rest of the clutch. I get way too excited when its time for eggs to start hatching.

Congrats on your first clutch! I think he is saying he waits for the first to pip and cuts the rest. Do alot of research if you decide to cut!
