    I don't know colubrids at all. But boy that little guys face has an angry look to it :)

    A garter snake? I dont know if this is a real type but a white sided caramel garter??? Lol. I dont know colubrids at all.

    Since this post went up I have learned a lot about different Colubrids, did not know that Colubrids accounted for two thirds of all snakes worldwide and can be found in every continent except Antarctica... Learn something new everyday! :gj:

    One more page and I will throw out a hint. A little bit of a hint here - many snakes in this genus are green. I actually am cooking eggs out of one the green species right now.

    These little fellows like a bit more of an arid environment and are a little mellower than their "green" cousins. The do posses a venom that is remarkable similar in composition to the nastier vipers in the area. The difference is that this species does not have as efficient a delivery system.

    However, this is one species I wear gloves with.
