Okay here is a side question.. how can you tell the difference between looking for food, the flight response, and exploring?
I can't tell if he is stressed, checking out his new house, or hungry... I plan on feeding outside of the cage so I need to let him settle in for a
week before taking him out to feed right?

See how it says 'random' up there? You can't have a working image with that in the address. Go directly to the full view of your picture, right-click it and click on Properties, then get the address from there. Then post it between [img] tags and we should all see it.

PS -- Ya might also consider posting this in the Pictures section instead.

Yeah i thought his color was sweet and he does seem to be a big boy.. hopefully he'll eat like one, I'm gonna give it a shot this thursday. Thanks for helping get the pics up. As far as I know he is a normal.... at least that's what i paid for :) he's from Don Hamper and some people have told me that he tends to have some pretty cool looking normals. Now to see how he eats.. oh yeah he LOVES knocking over my digital display he does it every afternoon and night haha. Thanks eveyone!

thanks for compliments on the set-up I worked my butt and monthly paycheck off on that thing haha. Also in my gallery is a photo of the lid to my tank - I covered it in contact paper from Walmart to keep humidity and heat in better... feel free to use it as an example on a humidity question as an alternative to duct tape! I got black marble and it actually looks pretty cool.

He's a beauty, Jonah! Nice setup, too!

You're welcome for the tip, Jonah. He is a nice-looking guy, and reduced pattern typically is sold as normal or "nice normal" rather than as a morph, as are some "high white" or "granite-ish" or "high gold" patterns. You do have a nice-looking setup, too. It would be great if you could get a clearer shot of your lid to use as an example.

thanks I'll see if I can't snag a digi cam again (maybe a nicer one this time) oh and sorry for not posting this in pictures... if you have the authority to move it feel free, I don't know how!

Not a big deal.. Judy can move it if she's inclined, but I can't move threads from here. The same digi came might be fine if you can get more lighting or something. I'm not trying to be a pain, just like having reference materials such as photos that I could point the next person to. :)

Jonah, how big is his enclosure? Looks like a 40 gallon from the pics.

20 gallon long I figure It'll hold me for a while until i get enough money for a nice big one.. what is the largest size i will need? Do vision cages look cool in person... Icculus is kind of a display snake being that he is my entire collection and I don't plan on getting any more for quite some time - I would like him to be in a sweet looking zoo-esque enclosure can anyone recommend a caging that is easy on the eyes but yet maintains heat and humid. better than tank?

Other than a custom build, I cannot imagine anything else. I guess I could get a 55gallon fish tank and make a custom top for it.

If you don't mind shelling out some bucks (and don't have the time and/or skill to build your own) here are some really sweet cages:

    There's probably more.... :)
