    Hold back----FOR SURE!
My last Pastave has finally shed. I haven't sex this one yet, but it's staying no matter what the sex is.

    What do you guys think?

Thanks. I know Pastaves are so 10 years ago, but I'm happy to have hatched 2 this season.

I know. I've been searching all over for pics, but can't find a whole lot. I wasn't sure if people just don't work with them much.

I hope "it" will keep its color and not brown out to much.

Here's the morphs of the clutch:

I'm pleased with the out come. There were also 2 normals in the clutch. Now I only wish I got more than one clutch this year!

Boy you sure don't see Pastave's with such deep blacks and sharp golds, I'd hold on to that one myself. What a looker!

Thanks for all the kind words. Now, does any body know if a Pastave will brown out like a Bumble bee? Just wondering......it's a keeper either way.

VERY nice! The flames and blushing on that guy/girl are insane! Love how dark "it" is too but how nicely it contrasts with the blushing/flames and in perfect balance: not too much dark, not too blushed out. I'd hold onto that one for sure too!

"It's" a GIRL. Well at least I'm 99% sure. I ended up 1.1 Pastaves, 1.0 Mojave, and 2.0 Normals. I seem to have a nack for hatching mostly males:confusd:

Now the question. I know it's a few years off, but first pairing when she's large enough to breed?

Its going to be between my Bumble bee or Lesser. I'm leaning toward the Lesser at the moment, but a lot can happen in 2-3 years.

Then again, there is the Pied.......

Thank you. I was thinking Bumble bee at first, but producing a BEL, or maybe a Pastel BEL would be pretty nice too.
