New Pick ups! Help? Serpents Lair!
Good day everyone got these three guys from Sarah Kafel out of Serpents Lair. Picked up the YellowBelly and Lesser last night. Sitting around the house this morning I knew I should have gotten that Het Red!! I text Sarah and within the hour she actually brought the snake to me! Fantastic customer service, prompt replies, and, very healthy animals!
We will definitely be doing business again soon. Thanks guys!

    Here they are,

    1.0 Lesser Platinum

    1.0 YellowBelly
He looks almost like a vanilla (or fire)
He is a lot brighter than my other two YellowBellys and a lot of my pastels! What do you think? Here he is compared to our other male yellowbelly

Sounds ok for a mojo. Lessers/butters are more.

It looks like a mojo to me too. That's exactly what I saw when I saw the pics earlier. Are you sure it's female? $125 is low even for a mojo male. :/

Nice pickups, but I agree: I'm not seeing any Lesser in that snake. I vote Mojo too.

Well I guess I take back my great review. "Sarah" doesn't know what she is talking about, and she does not respond to my text or calls.

That is pretty weird. I believe her when she says its from butter/lesser parents...but damn that snake looks like a textbook mojave. I looked at it and said "awesome mojave!" Then I read the description calling it a lesser.

It really looks just like a mojave. I suppose it could be a very dark lesser or butter, but the pattern and colors just aren't right. I have all three of those morphs and they are all easily distinguishable.

It doesn't seem to me like she is trying to scam you or anything. That is a stunning animal regardless of what morph it actually is.

I wouldn't say that mojave lesser and butter are the same thing though. Side by side they are all very different in appearance and when combined with other genes they do much different things. Just look at a pastel lesser, pastel butter, and a pastel mojave. Very different! I would say mojave is the most distinguishable of the three due to its pattern and darker color.

Either way, I would be happy with that purchase!

Your "lesser" looks nothing like the ones she sent in the picture. I'd say mojave too. & most of that text sounded like she just pulled it out of somewhere... I couldn't quite make sense of what she was trying to get at there.

mojaves are NOT the same as butters/lessers... Though butters and lessers are typically considered different lines. Mojaves plus lessers/butters are "compatible" in that the super form are BEL's but a pastave and pastel lesser/butter aren't the same. are those pics of the parents that she sent?

I can't see how anyone could confuse a mojave and a lesser/butter. The patterns and coloring are completely different.

Yes. Supposedly those are the parents, she said give her a few minutes to take pictures of them and those two were what I got.

I agree, she seemed a little nervous when we were talking about it in person as well.

I just hate the fact of not knowing what I bought! I agree it is a stunning animal , but I didn't expect her to say, it "MAY" be a Lesser after the purchase was already made.

Well me and my lady have been calling him the "molester" haha (ya know, Mojave and lesser ha)!

I wish I could show his colors of better cause he does have lesser colors on the side and certain spots on his body, I'll try and get some better pics today

Maybe it is some weird paradox?

There are only a couple scenarios.

    1. The snake is a mojave and Sarah is lying to you

    2. The snake is in fact from a lesser butter pairing and is just different looking.

Only way to find out would be to breed it.

I'd personally take it back and get your money back. It MIGHT have been permissible if it were still the gender you wanted, but a male? What did she say about the gender mix-up, did I miss that part? Sounds to me like she lied to you to pawn off something she couldn't sell to anyone else - male mojaves are not in high demand.
