The only movie that ever made me cry
Ok so I know guys arent supposed to cry but I cant help it. This is the best movie and I cant stop watching it. I dont know why but this movie hit me on a personal level.

I am a veteran and I guess when I watch this movie it brings back all of my suppressed memories of when I was in.

The movie is called Lifted, If you havent seen it I suggest you get it. Anyway, was up late and wanted to watch the movie again, and as I was sitting here surfing the forums as I do all night every night I thought I would let you all know.

If you have seen it let me know what you think?

I love Remember the Titans :gj:
Pretty much any movie where something happens to a kid or animal gets to me. Maybe I'm just a sappy girl, lol.

A Walk to Remember was a pretty sad movie. Especially the part where he still asked her to marry him.

Try watching some Korean movies like Windstruck, The Classic, and My Sassy Girl. They have subtitles. Major tear jerkers! You will need a box of tissues during those movies. ;(

I have two that are good tear jerkers...If I feel I need a good tear down... I watch these two.

Old Yeller ( Oldie but a goodie )

Armageddon (at the end when Bruce Willis stayed behind to save the world and his dialogue with Liv Tyler... VERY strong )

    Yeah that part was tough...

Nobody has said The Lion King yet! I am sorry but when the movie came outta the vault about a year ago we bought it. I didnt think it would hit me like that but I remember crying when I was a kid at the part where Scar kills Moufasa but I didnt think that 10 years would make me a cry baby all over again...

You guys are gonna laugh, but I cried during the opening scene of the newest Star Trek. And I didn't cry just the first time seeing it... I've cried every time I've seen that scene. D:

I cry a lot during TV shows and movies. I am just weepy like that.

Lol but I can see why, that was the movie that finally got me into Trek. I'm a HUGE star wars fanatic, but now I can rub elbows with the Trekkies without a huge argument. Guess I'm a nerd like that lol

    Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close

there was a scene that just literally made me sob bad, course I watched it alone, as the wife had no intention of watching it.

if you haven't seen it, it's worth it. only movie to make me cry my eyes out, no lies.

    "Marley and Me"

Who said guys aren't supposed to cry? A man can cry. A real man can cry and be okay with it. I'm an emotional guy so there are a lot of movies that bring tears.

My two year old gets emotional when "sad" music plays on tv. He also cries at Mickey's Club House when Goofy gets stuck in a tree stump. Just like his Daddy!

It's funny because under "normal" life circumstances, I don't cry. Just like when I'm in pain, I laugh. I don't know why.

BUT, there are so many movies and tv shows that make me tear up. It's ridiculousness

All of my sisters are the same way. I tend to get angry when I'm in pain. Nothing crazy like turning green or throwing or breaking anything but I get a pretty good wave of rage wash over me for a few seconds.

I'm not a tough guy, but I put on one heck of a front. And I try not to show emotion in front of people. So I can't remember any movie that has actually made me cry. But several have given me an emotional feeling. The Green Mile, Schindler's List, Pet Symetary (when the little boy gets hit by the truck), The Help, and I'm sure there are many more but I'm drawing a blank.

My co workers and I were just talking about the end of Saving Private Ryan. When the old man kneels and the head stone and says "tell me I've lived a good life", that is very emotional.

I know the OP says "Only movie..." but I got a couple:

    Armageddon

    My Sister's Keeper

    Saving Private Ryan

    Restrepo

When the little Padawan in Star Wars Episode III asks Anakin "what are we going to do?" and Anakin ignites his lightsaber. Actually almost all of Order 66. Doesn't make me cry tears but it makes me very sad with a boo boo lip.

Ole yeller, market and me, and I can't remember the name of the movie but Michael Jesting was dying of cancer and made videos for his unborn son that he would never see. Those made this old Ironworker tear up.

Stop it. You're making me blush.....:giggle:

I cry when I watch Lion King. As many times as I have seen that damn movie, it still gets me everytime. And definitely Fox and the Hound, Homeward Bound and Marley and Me. :tears:

Ghost Whisperer and Extreme Home Makeover make me cry like a baby. That's why I never watch them, lol.

    Marley and Me

Oh boy. I do get semi emotional over Extreme Home Makeover. When it involves like a disabled veteran or a family who lost a parent/spouse who was in the military it saddens me and stuff.

I went to see Marley and Me in the theater with my family, and it just so happened that we had to put our family dog to sleep about 9 months before it came out. We were all openly sobbing by the end of the movie. I'm even getting teary now just thinking about it.

I also recently cried while watching The Hunger Games, even though I had already read the book twice and watched the movie once before. The scene with Rue really gets at me, apparently. I'm kind of horribly overemotional though, and have been known to cry while reading books with sad parts.

I was wondering when someone would bring that up! That scene is so sad! The book was much more depressing than the movie IMO, but the movie made me choke up a little. And that is weird for me. I'm not terribly emotional during movies.

However, the last bit of Toy Story 3 is unbelievably heart wrenching. Lion King for sure.

Or when the dog dies in I Am Legend. I can't even watch once it gets to that part. I just turn it off or walk away.

Oh god...or Seven Pounds. I may have teared up a bit at several points during that movie. It's just so sad. :(

I both love and hate Marley and me. I tear up every time I read the book or watch the movie. I get very attached to my pets, particularly my dogs and it been a rough 4 years.

The scene with rue gets me every time, both reading and watching, and I have red it a lot.

Then again I can be very emotional, anything with a kid, an animal or someone helpless makes me tear up, and then go looking for the nearest baseball bat. Pain also puts me in a rage, not hurt someone but leave me alone and the nearest wall might have a new dent....

Oh no, don't even mention I Am Legend, won't watch it ever again after the dog part!

Heck, I was watching a My Cat From Hell, and lost is because the woman had not come to peace with losing her previous cat, and had to go dump its ashes. It kind of touched home with my kitty I lost. I may love animals more than most people......

I am a huge animal lover too... I tackled a kid at school once because he was trying to kill a snake. The weird part is I love hunting but it saddens me at the same time. So thats why I am a strict advocate of hunting rules and regs... I HATE poachers:mad:
