Where do you have the probe placed on the glass or top of the substrate.

How big is the tank, how cold is the room, and what type of bulbs are you using? (regular household light bulbs, heat bulbs, other?)

If you aren't using a UTH then I would move the thermometer probe closer to the surface of the substrate

I would put it just under the surface.

Are you using bulbs like these: http://m.petsmart.com/mt/www.petsmar...ductId=2752598

    Or these: http://m.petsmart.com/mt/www.petsmar...uctId=11147193

The 100wt is the second one and the 75wt is the first one

I agree put your probe on the surface right under the hide that way you know the temp where your bp is laying.

I highly suggest getting an uth and thermostat though. Using that amount of heat lamps is going to suck out almost all your humidity. Which can cause all sorts of problems with shedding.

Ball pythons should not need to be in 90 degree ambient air temperature.

The hot spot can/should be around 90-92 but the ambient air temp should be closer to 86 to 87 on the warm side and 78-80 cool side.

I agree with getting a uth and thermostat.
Those lights will kill all or most of the humidity and the snake might have some rough sheds if you leave it like this.

I don't have a UTH, I use a 100w bulb on a 20L tank all I use is a wet towel over the mesh top and my humidity is fine. If I need to bump it I just must it down.
