Ball Pythons NOT cute?!?

My snake-phobic daughter commented this evening that ball pythons were NEVER cute (after I'd commented that, when they get mature enough, I'm hoping for a hatching of very cute little baby ball pythons).

I told her I knew some BP owners who would beg to disagree with her. Any repeatable comments any of you would like me to forward to her?

Ball pythons are cuter than Kittens :P

if i had any say in the dictionary, there would be a picture of a baby bp beside the word "cute".

My husband looks at me like I'm truly nuts if I say any sort of reptile (especially a snake) is cute...or even beautiful. He's very particular about his adjectives! LOL

You need to show your husband a crestie. :) Not that ball pythons aren't cute, but big manly men melt at the sight of a crestie. :)

I'm hoping the young beardie we get will at least warm him up a little.... :)

A beardie might help too, but a wingless dragon baby with eyelashes in an awkward puppy pose will get most anyone I think. Of course, when a beardie tilts his head and blinks at you, that's hard to resist, too. :)

Ball Pythons are not only cute, but some of the extremely large females may be able to swallow kittens.. hope this helps!

Hoomi, I have a nephew who is 3 1/2 years old who is terrified of my very conventionally cute 6 pound maltese puppy. He will not even walk around my house if the dog is not in his crate. However, this same nephew absolutely loves our ball pythons, as well as our other snakes, and will sit and pet the snakes and "how cute" and "he's nice." So there, from the mouths of babes, ball pythons, and other snakes, are indeed cute.

I think that BPs are adorable. Nothing beats a cute little baby BP striking out at its first prey. So much energy and killing ability in one tiny little snake!

I have to agree with you Ginevive! There's NOTHING cuter than a bp!

It's those cute, rounded faces and chubby cheeks!
