Ok just picked this girl up looks like she has multiple sheds stuck to the end of her tail what can I do?

Soak it and it may just peel off...

How long did you soak for? Have you tried veggie oil?

Did it for like 10 mins am currently soaking will try some oil if this dosent work

My albino girl has the uncanny ability to shed complete expect for her tail tip too. What I do is keep a wet towel pressed to the area for several minutes (sometimes for than 10) then try to work it off by rubbing the towel down her tail to her tip (this is easier if someone else is holding her body while I work at her tail). Dripping some water drops directly onto the stuck shed helps too.

It looks like it is gonna take a while but I think there may be permanent damage to her tail

Does it look black at the tip like there's restricted blood flow? I though that that was happening to my albino's tail until I realized it was one of her saddles at the end/tip of her tail that was a darker colored anyway :oops:. Maybe your girl has a black tail tip that's making it look dead/damaged? But of course won't know until the shed is off.

Edit: didn't see the post where you said you got it off. Maybe post some new pics?

The shed is all off, it has a bit of red color in it. I just got her off of Craigslist. There was ALOT of she'd on it now it looks like it is squished. She wasn't getting a lot of blood flow in it you can tell I will pm you when she calms down a bit with a pic of it so you can see.

It looks to be permanent damage I don't know for sure. I thought it was dead at first but when I got all the stuck shed off there is color under it.

Poor baby :( Glad you got her and are taking care of her like she deserves now.

Thanks I have a soft spot for the under privileged snakes that I seem to find. This is my second snake. Although I love morphs and higher end snakes, I think I will stick to rescuing snakes from situations. I got my ball in bad shape too now she's a happy little gal. Hope this boa feels the same lol.
