just a quick shot of a days worth of work. now on to sealing, installing vents, cord pass throughs, finish sanding, paint, tracking, and finally glass!

Niiiiice! I wish I could make one like that. Everytime I make one I end up not liking and scraping it. Flavor of the moment is wishing I hadn't done sliding doors :/

ok so 4 3" vents at each end 2 1.5" cord pass throughs in the back, silicone based sealant on all inside edges, low voc behr paint all around (4-5 coats). sliding glass will be done in front of the rounded openings. for those of you who dont like using wood....the first enclosure i ever built was over two years ago and used these same basic materials, though be it completely different in design, once i cleaned it out to sell it you couldnt even tell that the water dishes had been spilt almost daily in it.

Wow, freaking amazing. Are there plans for projects like this available online? It's a dream project of mine. I considered building something like an old school entertainment center divided into sections for 3 or 4 terrariums, and for some good looking storage. Or at least a rack system for some Exo-Terra low style cages. I want to have many snakes, but I don't want to have unsightly plastic tubs.

Where is 'local'? I would love the 4ft enclosure depending on how much you want for it. And if you do happen to be local would you be willing to build a small one for my ball python?
