    New to corns...
hey, ive yet to work with cornsnakes and would like to get a little project going with them. I want to know what some morphs are that are newer or a cool project to get into. What would you guys start up? Thanks!!

I'm working with amel, motley, and charcoal. I think anything with diffused in it would be good. I like pewter, fire, and whiteouts. I think palmetto and scaleless are the newest morphs. Maybe pied-sided. Also, at the show I've been too, amels are always there. So I think that means they sell good. And I usually don't ever see any 2-bangers, but I'm in Oklahoma and we don't have big shows.

If you don't mind, how much are you willing to spend on the snakes themselves? (assuming you have a rack or whatever already) So I can be more specific on what I would buy.

    1.1 Opal stripe=$350
    0.1 Amel stripe=$50
    0.1 Amel=$25
    =$465 shipped from http://bhb-reptiles.myshopify.com/co...-snakes?page=1
With those combos you'd get, opal stripes, amel stripes het lavender, amels het stripe and lavender. That way you can have a variety of prices. That is if you are prepared for all those hatchlings. Plan to NOT sell 90 babies for at least 6 months.

If I were just starting out like you(and me), I'd buy a 1.0 snow, 0.1 anery, and 0.1 amel. That comes out to $115 shipped. Then use the rest of the money for a few diy hatchling racks and some good t-stats. Just my $.02

Thermometers? Or thermostats? I know you aren't new to reptiles, but I didn't know you were set up for that many babies.

Good! I think you should really pick the colors you like the most. Snows and anery's would probably sell better, but I went with blizzard and charcoal cause I don't like the yellows.

    I have a

0.1 Bloodred het Lavender/Hypo/Motley PH Amel and Caramel
    0.1 Snow (unknown hets)
0.1 Normal (unknown hets but she will be bred to my anery to see if she's het for amel/anery)
1.0 Anery Motley (het for either amel or amel and strawberry)

None of mine are anywhere near breeding (my snow and bloodred are 2011 hovering at 38g and 65g) and my normal and anery are 2012 babies.

I like creamsicles, lavenders, and charcoal corns. There seem to be tons of morphs when it comes to corn snakes. Corns can be a lot of fun.
