Is my first Piebald in one of these eggs?

Hello everyone,

I got 4 eggs from a Het X Het pieblad pairing, piebalds are the whole reason I got interested in breeding ball pythons so this is an extremely exciting clutch for me.

It was day 59 and I am scheduled to go out of town on business in afew days, plus my wife didn't want to have to handle setting up such an important clutch with me gone. With that said we decided to cut the eggs and find out what we have in them. See the video for the results.

Loved the vid man, getting the whole fam involved like you had IMO is better than hitting a pied. But it was hard to say what u had, pictures would prob be easier to see.

:tears: that video was great just hearing the whole excitement from your kids :gj:. but looks like you did get a pied keep us updated once they are all out

Awesome! I love getting the daughter involved with snakes. She may be only 4 but she is GREAT with them. I'm glad you hit the pied lotto on this one and can't wait to see pictures!

Love it when kids get involved! I know mine are hyped up about every clutch.... I see you did hit at least one... Keeping my fingers crossed for you on the first egg you cut..... 2-4 would be great odds on a het x het

Thanks everyone for the kind words. It is great having my kids so interested and excited about the snakes it makes this type of event even more fun.

Just an update on the lil' ones, they are all out of the egg as of this morning and I have one high white and one low white Pied and two 66% hets. I will get them cleaned up and set-up in a tub later today. Pictures are sure to follow shortly afterwards.

Sorry for the delay everyone in getting picture but I have been out of town on business. To catch everyone up, the babies all came out on Wednesday Sept 5th and I have two pieds and two 66% hets. The hatchlings all weight in between 77-80 grams except for the one in the small egg, it weighs in at a whooping 53 grams.

They are currently all in shed and doing great!!!!

I will shut up now and supply the pictures everyone wants to see.

Great looking Pieds! And I wouldnt called the second one a low white at all!! LOL! Great job, what are the sexes?

both of your pied came out awesome i like the low white one too because of the tiny bit of pattern on the tip of the tail its cute. im a high white guy so i love that one too
Big congrats man, you have to update us with sexes too now if its a male and a female pied or double female even you might have hit the double lotto

Very cool! I am thinking that I will be getting a pied in 2013 at some point as I want to put one with my VPI axathic for some double hets. Congrats on a great clutch!
