Yep, more burm morphs will come up and the only ones people can have will be restricted to your state, so Texas, we have Dwarf, Granites, Green, Albino, and combinations of all of those. But no scaleless, "fire", or heck I don't even think we have Ivory in Texas right now!

When I see things like this I cant help but think to myself "who would ever know? I could get away with it."

Burms never fail to catch my attention. Is this a codom or recessive?

I haven't had a Burm in about 12 years or so but I got my first one when I was like 10 years old. I can't even wrap my mind around keeping them isolated by state now. So retarded...Welcome to the police state. Also hard to believe people are actually "respecting" such a "law".

People are respecting this law because why are we going to put our hobby under even more scrutiny? Not to mention, its a Federal law and a huge heafty fine when caught. I believe it's somewhere around $50,000 per animal.

I know I won't take the risk of losing my rights to own these reptiles, regardless on how stupid or pointless a law may be. And, I don't have $50,000 just laying around either, lol.

yeah i agree. i think people should just stop posting such things. all it does is make us look bad, we all think the laws are dumb or whatever but they are laws none the less and as americans we should respect them and as reptile keepers and supports for our rights to own them we should understand that everything we say could be used against us in our struggle to keep our beloved animals. so keep in mind although this is a reptile forum does not mean someone isnt creeping on it and using the sarcastic and harmless things we say and turn it against us.

    but back on subject.
MAN what a awesome snake i wish i was allowed to own one. keep us updated on how that guy/girl grows

Very tough price which is out of my limit.
I'm not sure this little badass is recessive or dom, codom but i'm pretty sure "fire burm" is proven genetic cause the ower shown me 4 of it but the one i've posted omg...

Hypo and fire are the same morph, and it is a co-Dom.
That one has some crazy insane oranges on it.

Nope, "fire" is just a name i gived to it. This is not a fire/hypo which het leucistic.

Let the record show that I was joking about my earlier post. I wouldnt ACTUALLY break the law to get a snake. No matter how cool they are.

I dunno normally I would agree with not breaking the law however if I had a burm and was moving I'm pretty sure it would come with me and If I got Caught I would just hav to face the music.
