    Female ball resting belly up?
The last time I checked on my female ball python she was resting with part of her belly face up. I was just wondering if that's something to worry about? I know she isn't gravid she's never been bred, I have never housed her with a male and I've had her since she was tiny. Any advice would be appreciated.

They sometimes lay in weird positions. Any chance she'd eaten a big meal recently? Sometimes they'll lay sideways or even upside down, maybe to relieve the pressure of undigested prey. And sometimes they're just weird.

My spider was laying like that once when I lifted up his hide.. I immediately started crying because I thought he was dead  Turns out he was just being weird. I wouldn't worry.

    CDs Ball Pythons
Doesn't sound all that crazy to me. Ball pythons will do some of the weirdest things sometimes. Might be a different story if they stay that way for more than a day and are acting different as well.

This could be, snakes will lay on their backs to avoid too much heat also.

My male bp does it from time to time. Each time he does this I immediately have to check and make sure he hasn't died on me. At first it worries me and then I think it is cute. :P
I have noticed my bp does this when he is about to shed. I think he gets uncomfortable due to being in shed--that is my reasoning at least. Any other ideas?

    Awesome
Thanks for the advice everyone. I was pretty sure she was fine I just thought it would be good to get a second opinion. She just ate, shed and is righting herself perfectly fine so she's looking good. :gj:
