Newbie and just saying HEY!

My name is Dominik and i am new to this website but not to keeping balls, and as of tomorrow i will be the PROUD owner of 2 beautiful balls (no pun intended)... to be more clear they are 1.1 het pied. The couple I am getting them from are great and have been working with me and in additioni will be adding 4 AP 4 foot cages (future additions.....very soon hopefully). They are both about a year old and eating f/t, and the male is about 2x the size of the female because when they first got her she wouldn't feed. Now both are eating steady and gaining weight. The only reason they are selling is because they are moving (another state) and can't take them all. I will def post pics with weights asap while I am putting them in their enclosure. Also i must say that I LOVE this site, I have been reading non stop and think the ADDICTION has finally set in, sometimes reading til 2 or 3 the next morning lol. Thanks to everyone in advance for any questions I may have and cant wait to join in on the forums!!

This site is invaluable in helping people get their BP's enclosures set up. I don't know what I would have done without the help/caresheets sheets here. Particularly since the pet store employee told me earlier this afternoon that I wasted my money on a thermostat. :rolleyes:

Not to be "that guy" right off the bat but do the snakes youre getting come with paperwork? If not then theres no way to know for sure that the snakes are in fact het pied. I really only like to buy hets from reputable breeders. Ive seen way too many craiglist scams lol.

unfortunately no but thats not a big deal to me honestly....guy had about 12 balls and was very honest (i feel) about eveything he had and from what i can see knew what he was talking about. Honestly in a year or two if i eventually breed them (which i plan to because i am a PIED ADDICT), they will either prove out or not. Either way i feel ok about the deal because....

1. I got 2 balls and (4) 4 ft AP T8 cages for about half cost....so that gives me space to expand my collection. Also the T8's come with the heating (flexwatt) and thermostats, lights, etc.

2. If they prove out then i got a sweet pied hopefully which i have wanted for a long time.

3. If they dont prove out well at least i will have a beautiful normal female who will be breed ready next season.

EITHER WAY... I'm a happy camper! If I was in it for just breeding purposes I would have def asked for papers. Thanks for all the support you guys and I will def be around here (CONSTANTLY) and hopefully will post up some pics tomorrow for everyone to see.....
