If you had $3k to spend on balls..

... What would you spend it on?

New snake? What morph? Use it to feed snakes? New racks? Money towards reptile room?

Me... Oh man... I'm pretty much at max capacity. I would buy another rack, an orange dream female, maybe a combo OD. Enchi female + mystic potion female. Maybe a smokin adult female (or 3 :P)...

What would YOU buy if you had $3k to spend on balls?

Note: I do not have another $3k to spend on balls, I was just bored thinkn... $3k is a good chunk to buy some nice snakes :D.

I actually have $2k to spend on balls at the next expo in about 3 weeks lol. I have been wondering the same thing. Just ordered a new rack to add onto my existing one too

At this point I would spent it on a new rack and maybe a pastel het pied female or an orange dream male (possibly a combo). :D

I would buy 2 racks (small, like 5 tubs) one for BPs and one for Geckos, maybe 2 snakes (not sure what morphs), get a PVC enclosure for my existing BP, a couple Leos and AFTs, lol.

Idk its a toss up. I would like to get a mahogany male because theres not a lot been done with them yet (as far as I know) and I like darker morphs anyway. If a Ghi is down a bit in price I think I would add one but I dont know what those are going for at the moment last I saw males were 5k and that was for 2011s not sure if they have come down.... Man theres all kinds of things I want... Maybe add a couple of retics and everything that goes with them...

Uhhh i dont really have much more room for snakes lol. I have 3 spots left in my rack. Id like to get an AP PVC cage and a BCI but dont have room for that. Id probably buy a female fire, female pied and a male hypo pastel lesser or hypo pastave. Also a tstat, hatchling rack, and a cool fridge to use as an incubator for babies im expecting to produce this year. Idk, that may be more than $3K lol. Rough estimates of course :gj:

I would probably go with an incubator, adult rack, hatchling rack, either bought or DIY cant decide DIY would leave more money for snakes to fill the racks so then i would pick up a Stingerbee Pastel Male (Pastel Enchi Spider), and a Pastel Pied Female and maybe a POG Female if i had that $3K.

If we had an extra $3000 right now we would be placing an order with ARS for a new 7030 rack because we are definitely starting to run out of space!

And if we had to spend it on BP's a Vanilla Cream male and a Hypo Enchi female would be at the top of the list!:gj:

i'd get me a rack. a pair of black pastels het pied. and a desert. i would probably be needing more money though

I'd get a hatchling rack as well as a small adult rack. Plus, of course, some balls to fill them :D Pewter, Lemonblast and Champagne girls would top my list!

I'm not sure what the going rate on clown het axanthics is or visa versa, but I would probably buy the nicest start I could into a VPI axanthic clown project and then I would buy a blended iced coffee drink with the change because blended iced coffee drinks are good. :)

I would get another three racks. 1 adult 5-7 drawer. 1 juvie 5-7 drawer. 1 hatchling 20ish tub. I would spend the remaining money getting a few double co-dom combos.... Either that or try to snag a pair of pieds and pastel clowns:D:D:D:D

Another rack, a hypo pewter girl, and an axanthic het albino girl. And there goes the 3K...

A smaller rack (like one of those nice little 5-7 iris racks), a Kingspin male, a butter enchi female, and the rest would probably either go to another female, and/or supplies.

A female high white pied. - $700

A gravid wild caught sub-saharan ball - $UNK but they come in every winter and I've got a connection! I'm thinking max of $500.

A champagne female - $1000 or so, right?

I guess that's it!

Well I'm waiting for one last email from AP then I'm ordering a 4 slot rack.

I want two more snakes and that is a albino and pied. I recently have been reading and looking at pictures of deserts. I would love to get a female of course as a pet only then I would need a bigger rack ;)

At this time it would be a rack and food or a leopard female.

I would use it to custom fabricate all new cages for my girls,(which I have the majority of the materials here at home except for some screen).New husbandry etc. Perhaps I would convince my bf to let me get this gorgeous Mojave I've been looking at..

I couldn't find any pricing on Crystal males, but I'm pretty sure they're more than $3K...

So I would get a nice rack/thermostat, some vision cages, and another boa constrictor or two. Also a microscope so that I can test for parasites at home.

1.1 d.h. pied albino. Or a rack and 1.0 pewter, 0.1 pastave, 0.1 cinnabee, and 0.1 black magic.

Another ARS 7030. Mine is almost full. And then I would finish my snake room.

For me...

Leopard, Camo or Clown Projects.

I have a line on a breeding size female clown so there goes 2k. ;)

I did not fully peruse the entire 4 pages of this thread, but I think Pied's are HOT!!

The Daytona Expo was great. There were some pretty nice bp's, and the pied's moved pretty quick. If you saw one you liked you'd better grab it, because in an hour it probably would not still have been there.

You could buy a nice breeder Pied male for $600- $800 and a few 100% 0.1 Het Pied's at $300-400/ea, or a nice sized Pied girl for $1200- $1400 along with a nice rack and easily return half your money in the first year even if you only hit average odds with the Het girls.

I picked up a 1400+g male Pied and a 960g female Pied at the show. She is already up to 1050g with two small rats and today is feeding day. She's a 2010, and if she gets to 1300g by December she's gonna meet the stud "Holmes" this year. A single 4-5 egg clutch will pay for both my pied's and one of my new racks.

I'd upgrade the snake and rat housing here then probably look into a couple of 2012 female BPs. I'm thinking along the lines of a good vanilla and a good reduced pattern fire or black pastel.

A nice sunglow boa, cage and tstat to go along with it. Then probably a male and female Albino. I want a BEL, but think I would rather wait and make my own. Some other things I want too, but have ingredients to make my own.
