Our new house... (Major DUW!!!)

Some of yall might remember me talking about planning to build a cabin a while back. Well due to some medical bills that were supposed to be covered by our insurance getting turned into collections without so much as the first bill being sent our way, our credit is less than stellar until we can get this all worked out in court. So the cabin has been put on the back burner for the time being. This didn't change the fact that we needed a new place to live. So we shopped around and found a 3 bedroom, 2 bath manufactured home that we liked. It is a newer home and the price is right, so we jumped on it. We are putting a little over half down on the home and the owner is financing the rest, which is awesome. It needs a little work, but nothing major. Mainly just a couple door knobs, some new tile in the kitchen and that God awful floral wallpaper has got to go! It will work for the next couple years and then we will most likely just pay cash for our cabin when we build it and hang on to this trailer for a rental.

There will be absolutely NO Twilight crap of any sort in our household besides my wife's copy of the movies, which she can watch when I'm not home. I hate those movies with a passion!

The smallest room (4th pic from the bottom, below the pic of my wife [green haired chick]) will be our reptile room. The middle sized bedroom will be our gym/misc room.

Well i wont answer that for legal reasons but on more than one occasions she has told me and my brother she wished she had 0.2 kids instead of 2.0 :rofl:

Well i can tell you it ISN'T sparkly vampire themed. Thats all i dont like about it, otherwise its awesome!

Of course I'm kidding about wall paper!! Besides, I guess according to Mike that will make more room for twilight posters......lol.

Nope, have friends with little boys. They are demons. And dare devils with no fear, I would have a heart attack. My daughter is not afraid of anything, but she also has the common sense not to jump out of a tree or something like that. :p

Haha instead of playing in the tree house my stepdad built us we just jumped out of it. We kinda had a thing about climbing high structures and jumping out of them... I kinda see your point lol.

Looks great! 'Cept for the wallpaper...I must agree wholeheartedly on that one. LOL People do really weird things with wall paper sometimes. There should be a law.... :P

When you get your cabin built...instead of using the trailer as a rental, you can put it on the property with the cabin and use it as a whole REPTILE HOUSE!! :D How cool would that be??

Heather, we actually downsized our collection considerably for the move. This room is a lot smaller than the one we have at our old place. Just enough room for our tortoise table and a few small racks. This will be good, though. Less to heat. :gj:

... And Mike, you are no longer allowed to converse with my wife on facebook! Stupid Twilight movies. :rolleyes:

If it makes you feel any better I agree they look stupid. I never had any interest in watching them. :)

Too much drama. That is all it is and it isn't even good drama. It is the same poorly acted teenage love triangle drama in every movie.

If anyone wants to decorate our house, some sweet weather posters or log wallpaper would be sweet. :D

Me too. I have a huge obsession with vampires, and I watched a part of the first one. I couldn't stand to watch anymore of it and I refuse to watch any of the others.
