Baby completed his first shed while I was at work today, all in one tight ball... I stretched it out, realized it was the most perfect ball python shed I've ever seen, so I got the camera and started snapping pics. After that, I noticed the boa had took a massive dump in his enclosure, so I scrubbed up and got some pics of him also. aaaand, I got one of the cali king sleeping in his paper-towel tube. :)

    Perfect Shed...

Agreed, those saddles are bomb for a BCI

    yeah!
No crap! Talk about clean, crisp saddles! Thats about as close to perfect as you can get.

Not even close. You should see a silver peaked saddled suri. Those things are so bomb it brings a tear to my eye. I don't really dig the salmon coloring in boas, but a nicee greyish silver looks so sweet.

But for a BCI, that is as good as they come.

I'm gonna go find a pic of the perfect suri.

Not a bad example here. Preferably thr saddles would peak more, and the tail would be fire engine red. That'd be a perfect boa. Mmmm, sweet tho.

How's this one, John? If/when I get a boa, this is what I'd like... It's a little on the pink side...but the tail is to die for!

And Will....those pics are great! Congrats on the perfect shed. Baby is sooo cute! And Smoke is awesome! I'm a tad envious. The cali pic is really cute too...do you think that he thinks he's totally hidden because his head is tucked in the hide? LOL

wow, thanks for the compliments folks. i'm very happy with my boa, he's just a little goof ball... ever had a snake that just would NOT for the LOVE OF GOD go back into their enclosure after handling? Well, yeah that's him ;)... as for the saddles, i'm captivated at times. he's a gorgeous snake, tons of LIGHT pink flecks all throughout his body. Judy, I think the cali definitely thinks it's hidden, because it sleeps half-way out of its half-log also. The log is easily large enough for him to fit inside, yet he likes to stick out.

One word for those suri's... WOW.

Great pics! Love the shots of Baby, good looking ball. The boas are sweet. I miss handleing them. I had a boa just like the ne you described. She hated to go back in her cage after handleing.
