My hypo jungle boa, Candy is 2 today. She's such an amazing boa. :D

She got her rat last night, but the small rats are really small this time so you can't tell. She did get to go outside for her birthday though. :)

Wow i love her clean pattern. It also seems kinda reduced to me compared to other boas ive seen.

I thought boas grew faster, shes still a very manageable size. Very pretty girl, her future bf is nice too.

Her clean pattern was one of the first things I noticed about her. She's gotten some spotting in the year and a half that I've had her, but not much. I feed her slowly to hopefully keep her at a manageable size. I also took too long to bump her from rat pups to weaned rats, but she doesn't seem to have suffered for that. I think she's going to be a smaller female, which is okay with me. :)

Hypos are awesome, but I've noticed that some are much nicer looking than others. I personally favor the cleaner ones. :)

I got them both from the same breeder, he's the one who recommended that male and they aren't related either. I can't wait to see what their babies are going to look like. :D

Both of them are on rats already. Candy downs small rats and Kain enjoys a nice weaned rat once a week. She just seems small for 2 years old which is why I think she will be a smaller adult. I think she's almost to the point where the breeder recommended I switch her to feeding once every 2 weeks, but I'm going to wait until she's big enough for medium rats to do that.
