Show me your knives!
Kinda stealing from Scuba's knife reccommendation thread but show me pictures of your knives! Only one person posted a pic in thread but it was an awesome looking knife. Feel free to post pics of other blades you have too, not just knives, if you want. Knives are aweshum so show me yours! (KMG im calling you out since you said you were a crazy knife collector lol!)
I'll start. Here's 2 new Kershaw folders i got recently. I have a few other blades but no pics of them on my phone :gj:

Anything that has a blade so yes absolutely. I work in a kitchen and our knives suck. I wish we had a nice set of japanese or german knives!
Thats a cool swiss army knife, i have the same or a similar one just in the classic red. :gj:

I gotta say, I HATE those serrated edge knives, that "never need sharpening". Just give me a nice blade with a good sharp edge.

I like one piece kitchen knives as opposed to the blade with a seperate handle ones. (thats probably not the correct terminology but you probably know what i mean lol).
If youre a kitchen knife freak, where are the pics haha?

My wife bought a set of Cutco knives. I almost cried when I saw the price but I'll give them that, they're sharp! I've cut open more boxes, letters and fingers using those than any other knives we own. I mean, uh...I use them for tomatoes, potatoes and the preparation of gourmet meals if my wife reads this, lmao! They hold up well and are worth every penny, I hate to say. Beats the heck out of the Henkel set she did have...those things are junk.

Oh my god. I started to cringe when I read this..... You would be in big trouble if I caught you doing that, lol....
Mike, I'm at work. I will try to take a picture of my favorite knife when I get home tonight.

This was a birthday gift a few years back from one of my closest friends. I use it just about daily, and could not ask for one more sturdy or reliable.

Ok, my favorite knife I have in my kitchen right now. It is a Victorinox also. I use it for everything.
http://img.tapatalk.com/aee984fc-bb98-307e.jpg
There is also a couple other knives I have been eyeballing for the kitchen. One is a really cool cheese knife. But I really love this as an all around kitchen knife.

I have a set of Globals in the kitchen, and they were one of the best things I have bought. Kitchen work is SO much easier with a good knife.

Have a few that go most everywhere with me: Blackhawk punch dagger and a Blackhawk Trocar Razorback on my tac vest as well as a Case and Gerber that are carried daily but no photos of them.

Well I just saw this "call out" after getting home from work. I did throw together most of my collection but some are still missing like ones I keep in/on my vehicles, at work, or in drawers I just didnt dig out. I have about 16 others that I can think of that are not pictured. As for guns, yes I have those too, but I will not be sharing those. Just know I have a few. ;)
So does this make me a knife guru?

lol all my knives are at my parents ATM. I never brought them with me when I moved out.. I'll have to go pick them up and take pictures ;) haha

I really like functional knives so here is one of my favs. My old DH Russell belt knife (boatman version) This one is old I have had it a long time and used it heavily. I lost the first one and this is a newer knife than sheath but it too has seen much use. A classic blade shape makes it great for general use boating and camping.

I had THE nicest German WW2 knife. It was hand made in germany with a bone handle and everything with an authentic leather sheath. It burned in my house fire :(

No pictures at the moment as I only have one, that I got today at the new Cabela's store in my town, and it's a Buck knife, it's similar to the Solo Buck Knife, but I don't know. :p

Cabella's is awesome! Tons of cool stuff, I could spend way to much money in there.

Love this thread mike!
My every day knife is a gerber paraframe that my wife gave me for our first Christmas together 2 years ago. It's been holding up very well to my heavy use.
http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r...1770BCF34C.jpg
All of my other knives are packed up to move at the moment but here's the ones I ended up getting my groomsmen. The kershaw I wanted to get was like the one mike has on the left but they only had one... So I got them these instead.

Not the most fancy thing in the world but I knew the guys would really like them, especially sense they are assisted open knifes lol
Here's our wedding knife photo =P

Tempering is how they get the metal to be strong. The rainbow stuff is a titanium oxide coating...not sure if it has any other purpose than looking cool. I've seen a couple rainbowy kitchen knives, they're so cool, I want a set but I can never find 'em.

Some of mine are very old.. Others are newer.. Gil Hibbon, Cold Steel, Kershaw, Spec Plus, Western, Smith & Wesson, Camillus, Boker, Barlow, etc etc..
-
I'll post more later.. I have nothing new except the one I carry in my purse. Everything else is early nineties and older. My all time favorite knives will always be butterflies, especially Bali Song, switch blades, and fantasy daggers. I'm actually looking for an older one by Gil Hibben called the Silver Shadow that I always wanted but never got. I do prefer functional over display, but I've always loved his designs.
Here's my Dragon Lord. 1st production run. http://img.tapatalk.com/a6936898-3027-bf0b.jpg

A Smith & Wesson my dad gave me..

Camillus Cuda, 1st production run. This one was a gift some years ago brand new and was pricy. I use to carry it until I found out it went up in value. Now I just need to get the spots off the blade.

This is the S&W I currently carry until I find something new and retire it..
