    Erm? Can someone explain?
I like to oogle at Craigslist and found an ad titled "05 Bell line male 4100gr ball python proven breeder".

It doesn't look like any retic or burm to me - looks like an albino ball IMO just a large one.

Yep, definitely a ball. A BIG ball, but a ball. I love Bell Line albinos.

Also I just looked up that ad [I'm only a few hours south of Gainesville] and good lord that's a damn good price for a proven albino male.

albino ball, kind of hard for me to see it being 4100 grams. I have females that size and that one doesn't look to be full enough to weigh 4100 grams. plus I never seen a male that heavy.

I think I see a decimal point after the 4. could it be 4.092lbs? that would equal 1856g, a more realistic weight for an adult male.

Hard to see, but it looks like maybe a decimal after the 9, too?

I Google'd the scale model to see where format of the display. http://ibuyofficesupply.com/Products...PELPS20DL.aspx
It says it measures in pounds and ounces.

Yeah I sincerely doubt that snake is 4000+ grams. Also, are we 100% certain it's just a ball? I dunno but when I zoomed in on the pic (ctrl + +) it looks like it has a bit of an upturned nose.

It's a ball that has a bit of a duckbill snout. Lots of adult albinos get different shades of yellow as they get older especially if they have blushing or flames going on. I had a male that had three different shades of yellow and people at shows thought he was a young retic.

Yeah, I see something like 4,09.2 which would be a little odd. Or it reads out as 4 pounds (comma) 9 (point) 2 ounces.

Which, through conversion, places it at 2080 grams.

It does look like a ball to me. While 4100 grams is rare for a male its not impossible. I had a normal male that was 4200 grams but he was close to 15 years old and never missed a meal. But besides him I've never had another male exceed 2800 grams. If you are looking to ad albino gene to your collection I'd say go look at him. Be a good chance to ad some size and yellow to your gene pool.

I don't think the first snake is the same as the second. And I'd be careful if they are trying to say that is 4100g and it's 4lbs. It sounds like a scam to me.

The weight is most probably a typo but that is a gorgeous Male Albino

Just throwing this out there as well, I thought the only "bell line" albinos were caramels. And can I get a link to the post I can't find it.
