What do I ask a breeder?
I'm looking into buying a 2nd ball python, my first was from Petsmart. When looking to buy a young snake from a private breeder are there particular questions I should ask?

No Garrick owns royal constrictor designs.
My ck pastel het albino came from Garrick, top notch guy! Answered everyone of my questions, and he even told me about some his pairings for this season( but shhhhh they are secret). If you are looking at one of Garrick's snakes, do not hesitate he is a GREAT guy. With my one transaction with him I can tell he cares 100% about his customers happiness with their purchase.
To be honest you should, ask any question you are thinking. I bought a snake from "a big breeder" it took long time for them to answer my questions/ some questions still have not be answered and I emailed 2 times(same question). And just from those questions, I will most likly never buy from them again. To me Cs is very important, if you cant answer all my question that I asked in 2 different emails, I become disappointed as you lose my future business. I work very hard for my money(45+ hr weeks) and I am a college student. So since you can't take the time to answer my questions I can't take the time to spend money at your business. Plus I know they received my emails because they answered other questions that were in the emails.
It all boils down to if they have good reviews from other people, and most important, is if you feel comfortable with the person.

    Royal Chick
Cinnamons, Yellowbellys, Mojaves, Lessers, are some that are really nice morphs that can usually be found in that price range. Prices usually vary from breeder to breeder and female snakes are more expensive than males so those are also factors to take into consideration. If possible ask for multiple pictures of your possible new snake so you can see all angles and check everything with the snake. Hatch day, hatch weight, current weight, current diet and how easily they eat. Some babies can be finiky eaters no matter what. You can ask how often they are handled if you like... hope this helps.

Have you tried attending any reptile shows. Great way to meet and speak with a lot of breeders at once. I also like spiders and pinstripes.
    Good luck!
