pet rats for snake food after this?
well when i got home tonight i noticed there was something dark inside my 2 pet rats cages... so upon closer examination i realize that they had pulled the hood of my jacket through the bars of their cage and ripped it to shreds.

    Haha. That's a little funny.
The same thing happened to me except it was part of my bed duvet.

    Gotta love them though.

I have had rats pull lots of things into their cages. Sheets, curtains, cloths, towels, paper. I even had a rat take my homework into his cage when I was in middle school. I had another one that would take my mail every time I would let him out.

I had a rat when I was younger that ate half a beef stick (beef jerky) when I left the room. Chewed open the package too, i hadn't opened it yet. Unfortunately he was dead the next day or so. Not sure if it was because of the jerky or because he was a petco animal. Either way, they really will pull anything they can reach.

Before we got the rat racks ours ate the sleeve off of a shirt I liked

When I was like 9 we had this vicious blue rat who was gigantic, like the size of a small house cat who we kept in like a rabbit cage. One day my little brother left a motorized Godzilla toy too close to his cage and he pulled it closer and ate what he could of the skin and then died like 2 days later. Godzilla: 1, Monster Rat: 0.

Well the shirt thing sucked but the vicious monster rat meeting his fate at the hands of Godzilla not so much. That rat bit me once on my index finger when I was trying to fill his food bin and it literally shot blood like a foot and there were FAT blood splatters every inch from the back bedroom to the kitchen where I went for a Bandaid. I guess he managed to hit something cuz I've never bled like that from a finger before or since. He was MEAN and huge and scary.
