    got to love the scammers
so the last thing I posted on craigs list was offering to house reptiles for anyone that was displaced by the fires here in Colorado. I just got this letter

    Hello,

How are you doing over there??? I am writing you this email concerning the pets you posted on Craiglist.I would like to know if your pet is still avaliable for sale? I want to know the final amount you are willing to take for the pet. I want you to send me the pictures and details of the puppy and also i will like to know your mode of payment but my most preferable mode of payment is via Money Order.

    Awaiting your quick response

    Regards

I have alot of great things I would like to do to scammers but unfortunately they are not forum friendly. They make my blood boil.

We get those all the time. They are everywhere. These don't bother me half as bad as the irresponsible owners who are trying to pawn off their sick animals that they never cared for.

That's why I put my phone number and do not show my email. Filters them out much better.

Uncle Jack will come and pick him up, in his pickup truck. He says he wants to train a new gun dog, since the last one didn't make it.

Whenever I get emails like those I just give them the answers they don't want.

Scammer: hello friend are you still interested to get a Large Rats cause i have
    some for adoption.

Me: The rats are to be snake food, not pets.

Scammer: yes dear friend where are you located and how many rats do you want to take.

Me: I am located in Carrollton and I would need around 10 rats. How much do they cost?

Scammer: hello friend i am located at North Dakota and i am not selling my rats
i am giving them out as gift to a caring and lovely family that can
take very good care of them ok.so promise me that you are going to
take very good care of them for me ok.so can you come to my place and
pick them up or if you can come i can arrange a save pet delivery
agency that is going to deliver the rats straight to your door step
and they charge just 300$ ok.so give me your full delivery details so
that i can go now to the pet delivery agency and get the rats register
and ship to your home address ok.

    your full name?
    your full address?
your zip code and tele phone number>
    and your nearest airport?

Me: I will come to your place and pick them up. What is your address?

Scammer: hello friend am in North Dakota and if you can come i will be so
grateful but if you can't come i can arrange a save pet delivery
agency that offers door to door step delivery of pets and it is going
to take 4-5 hours for the delivery and they are going to deliver the
rats at your door step and you are only going to pay for the delivery
fee which cost 300$ ok.so please give me your full delivery details so
that i can go get the rats register at the agency and they are going
to contact on how o make the payment ok.

    your full name?
    your full address?
your zip code and tele phone number>
    and your nearest airport?

    thanks and waiting....

Me: I can come to you, what is your address?

    Scammer: Hello Dear ,

i don't think you can come over ok.do you know how many hours it will
take you to come it will take you 21 hours and i don't feel that will
be save ok.so all you need to do is to give me your full delivery
details so that i can go to the animals delivery service and register
the rats and they are going to contact you and you will be paying to
the animal service and not me ok.

    thanks

Me: Actually I am moving to North Dakota next week so I should be able to pick them up no problem. I think it would be much safer for the rats for me to drive an hour or two instead of being packed up and shipped, which is probably very stressful. All I need is your address so I can come get them.

Scammer: hello friend sorry for the late reply i just relocated to Los Angeles,
Californie, États-Unis ok and i would love you to come and pick up the
rats at my place if only you can come but if you can't come i can go
to a save animal delivery service nearby and register the rats and
you are going to pay for the transportation and they do door to door
step delivery of animals and they charge just 30$ for one rats and
since there are 30 rats you are going to pay 900$ at the agency ok.and
they are going to contact you on how to make the payment and receive
the rats ok.So if you are interested that we do ship the rats to your
home address kindly give me your full delivery details so that i can
go tomorrow to the agency and register the rats ok.

    your full name?
    your full address?
your zip code and tele phone number>
    and your nearest airport?

and hereis an attached photo of them i know you are going to love them
ok.and please promise me your are going to take very good care of them
    for ok.

I got a bunch of the ones where they want to buy my animals, and say they're going to send a guy by with a cashier's check to pick them up, lol.

I've kept some of those going along for days.
